Shuttle to cruise port - Fort Lauderdale

Anyone who stays in Fort Lauderdale before a cruise do you have a shuttle company you prefer?

We use Uber so we don't have to wait for others. Since we stay close to the pier, it's usually less than $15 (total, not per person)

My choices in order of preference would be:

Hotel shuttle (if available)

Uber (incredibly easy)

Taxi (often well worn)

I took the plunge a few years ago and have almost given up on taxis and shuttles. If a dinosaur like me can figure out Uber and Lyft, so can you! Good service and great prices. :D

A shuttle driver or taxi driver can hurt you as much as an Uber driver. I'm not sure I see the difference.

With Uber or Lyft there is an electronic record of who your driver was as well as the pick-up and drop off. Never had an issue.

It really depends on what port your sailing out of.

With Uber or Lyft there is an electronic record of who your driver was as well as the pick-up and drop off. Never had an issue.

Which is why I generally feel safer with Uber/Lyft than any taxi or shuttle. You have a picture of the driver, all their information, and every second of your ride is logged.

I understand your hesitancy! We are from a small town in a rural area and I can count on one hand how many taxi rides we have taken in our lives. LOL We used Uber for the first time earlier this year. It was an overall pleasant experience, friendly driver with a clean vehicle, the process was very simple with the app, and economical. We plan to use Uber from our FLL hotel to the cruise port for our upcoming cruise vacation. :)
