Club Royale Casino Certificate Change

I just sent an e-mail to Mr. Bayley. Will post if I hear anything.

 

I sent mine earlier and got a call from Calley in his office within an hours time. I expressed my feelings towards all that is happening...

 

It is obviously an issue they are hearing about so EVERYBODY should let them know how you feel. Dan

I'm really hoping they don't change anything for solos. I'm 2/3 the way to pinnacle and have 10 cruises booked to help me get there. I agree, if they are going to change anything, those that already booked should be grandfathered in.

Have spoken to 2 different departments, and currently awaiting confirmation on all of our bookings.

 

Have heard:

CR CONFIRM No double points

C&A Diamond Plus desk saying we would still get double points

CR second manager Not Budging on the 1 point policy

C&A having conferenced us now saying only single point.

C&A DP desk saying it is CR policy

CR manager saying it is C&A policy.

 

Email on its way to Mr Bayley.

 

Frustrated, and totally pissed, regardless of discounts,

I am paying more of my own money for an RS, than a non gambling customer staying in an OS is paying.

They get 2 points, we get 1

 

I know they are reading this thread and really hope they fully understand the impact to their bottom line.

 

The casino is the LARGEST revenue generator on the ship, along with alcohol.

Loose all your Big spenders, prices of drinks will have to go up!

 

Oceans 13 springs to mind, all the High Rollers just got treated better at another casino and moved on.

Have spoken to 2 different departments, and currently awaiting confirmation on all of our bookings.

 

Have heard:

CR CONFIRM No double points

C&A Diamond Plus desk saying we would still get double points

I got a reply from Nelson Frau via e-mail. He is looking into it and said he will get back to me in a day or two.

 

I have two cruises booked, one of them in a CLS. If this policy does not change, the CR has seen the last of my money! And after these two cruises, I will look elsewhere to cruise. Just not worth the hassle that comes with cruising with Royal. And the other cruise lines are catching up to Royal in terms of innovative ships.

Me too!!!! I'm 84% on my way to Pinnacle. I cruise solo and play in the casino.

I'll be Pin in either December or January.

All 10 of my booked cruises are with a casino certificate or an offer. I can understand if you get a free cruise, where you just pay taxes and port charges, but if you are paying for a cruise there should be double points.

Hopefully everyone expresses their disapproval of this new policy. It cost me 200.00 to have my certificate removed from one cruise. I can’t imagine the impact this new policy will have on your ten cruises. At least 70 points I would imagine.

Actually about 100. I have lots of 11 and 12 night cruises booked.

This is very frustrating. I booked a Grand Suite on a casino rate over a year ago and was told several times by several different reps how exciting it was that I would be getting double points. The casino rate was only about $200 off or $300 off per person. So it is not like I got a free cabin.

 

I sent emails to Mr Bailey and to Casino Royale. I just don't see how they can change it like this and not lose a lot of business. They should make it for future cruises booked after a certain date.

Whatever. Just letting you know what I was told on the call back I got. Remember they said they didn’t think they would see a change but they will talk about it.

I sent emails to every one I can think of including the CEO and C&A Director. It stated how unhappy I am with the taking away of benefits WE EARNED but also in the way that it’s being handled. No one knows ANYTHING!! Don’t announce a new policy if you cant provide any details or ground rules or answer basic questions about it. I hope I get a response. Otherwise they will be refunding me a lot of money I paid to upgrade to suites.

I echo everything you mentioned above. I had the same observations after hours on the phone with CR AND C&A. Each says it’s rhe other groups program. Such bull****. I sent a long email to Michael Bayley. Copied C&A Director and CR. Theyre probably getting tired of hearing from me. That was my 3/4th emails to CR and Millie.

 

The biggest issue I have are the 2 cruises past final payment that i recently paid over $1,000 to upgrade specifically for the points to get me to Pinnacle on the June 29 Mariner. If they don’t budge I told them I will expect a refund without penalty for the difference to downgrade me back to my original category booked. The email contained several issues I’m not happy with, including the horrible way this is being handled

I hope during the meeting they can slap each other on the back about how they have officially turned the casino program into the worst at sea. I hate to say it but Carnival gets it right....not only with the casino.....but also with their web site.....both of which are now epic fails at RCCL.

Someone will get a pay raise for this WWCF! That's the sad part about this.

If this meeting has the people in it who have created this mess, they should be all now reading this thread on a big ass screen and bowing their heads in shame.

 

Makes me wonder if the right people will turn up to the meeting, as internal departments don't have the same information about NEW policies, so how can they communicate a time and date for a meeting:eek:

Great now I need to clean the coffee off of my computer screen and I am trying to get out of here to start my vacation.

 

One can only hope that this has gotten high enough in the chain to effect some change but not holding my breath.

I stressed to them in my last email that they should NEVER have told anyone about a change in policy unless it was REALLY official AND they had all the details and information to answer the basic questions. How this was “rolled” out and subsequently handled is atrocious. It wouldn’t have ever happened like that if I were the boss lol.

As someone who has never complained to Royal Caribbean about my frustrations with the casino program the last few years, I just fired off an email to Mr. Bayley and Club Royale. I have never sailed on Carnival but if this issue cannot get fixed I am done pouring my money into RC. I don't understand why they can't get it together. Ridiculous. :mad:
