each person can bring one 12 pack i believe. no matter their age, even kids.

though i would have to do a search to reread the exact rule, seems like so many rules have changed.

Every human can bring a 12pk of soda, even a baby if paid for. You can also buy more in ports if you run out.

Thanks to all that have answered. My next question would be it me and my sister she drinks 7 up and diet 7 up. I drink root beer. Can I open one of the case of 7 up and take half of them out and up half root beer. Or do they have to be sealed case?

i think it says 12 cans of soda, not sealed case of 12.

my problem is i only drink flavored cabonated water which comes in bottles, but i do think there are cans for sale.

No. But you can glue it back shut if it makes you feel better. Security might open it anyway - they know some people like to smuggle like that.

I know our friends had their 12 pack opened in Galveston. Fortunately, they had a bag to carry it onto the ship, since the cardboard was torn up.

I didn’t even have ours in a case. We took on 12 cans and I had 6 in my bag and my kid had 6 in his.

You can bring any combination of the 12 cans. Security may inspect an open carton. Most of the time, they don't even give it a second look.

In my experience, they do not have an issue with bringing back cans of soda purchased in port, either. So if you run low you can restock.
