It’s a cloudy and cool Alaska day.

Ship is very quiet , people still coming onboard.

Best news is “Mark Pells” is the HD[emoji3]

No 5star welcome? Was told it’s tomorrow morning?

The cooking freebie for 5 star is a port day .

Say prayers to the weather gods for me [emoji56]

Good Morning from Haines.

It’s a beautiful clear 56degrees.

The weather has been great . Crossing the Gulf of Alaska was smooth as glass and Glacier Bay was sunny and gorgeous.

PG is way too full , had my 1st dinner last evening and was by the rail at the atrium.

People were dressed fairly well on gala night,

Crew is great, with Mark Pells as their leader. It’s a happy ship

More later, on to Skagway

Mark Pells is an outstanding hotel director. You are in good hands. Thanks for checking in, and continue to enjoy your cruise.

I also have sailed with Captain Draper, many, Many, maNY, Many times . (NO exaggeration ! ) :D

IMO Captain Draper is very high on the list of the best, HAL Captains

The credit for a 'happy ship' always goes to the top, the Captain !

I look to the captain to keep me safe at sea, and I look to the hotel director to run a happy & efficient floating hotel. Sounds like Noordam has a great combo onboard right now. Lucky cruisers!

Well said

But the buck always stops at the Capatin, for 'blame' and for 'credit '
