Just tried to book PG -it’s sold out, told them I’m 5 Star and now magically there is space.

Seattle really needs to fix this , so prebook is possible.

One time I forgot to book the Pinnacle. We were staying in the PS and even the Concierges could not get us in there.

Glad they were able to "suddenly" find you a reservation.

Nice, 1Angelcat! Some of our best cruises have been on the Noordam with Mark as HD. He's the best! Have a great time!

It’s a beautiful clear 56degrees.

The weather has been great . Crossing the Gulf of Alaska was smooth as glass and Glacier Bay was sunny and gorgeous.

PG is way too full , had my 1st dinner last evening and was by the rail at the atrium.

People were dressed fairly well on gala night,

Crew is great, with Mark Pells as their leader. It’s a happy ship

He is also very approachable with the passengers, and one sees him out and about, keeping an eye on everything in his pleasant, efficient way.

I also have sailed with Captain Draper, many, Many, maNY, Many times . (NO exaggeration ! ) :D

IMO Captain Draper is very high on the list of the best, HAL Captains

The credit for a 'happy ship' always goes to the top, the Captain !

We have found that for Alaska cruises, the 5 star cooking class is often/usually on a port day or Glacier Bay day.

We find this better than on the same day, at the same time as the Mariner reception/Mariner Brunch!

Not sure, he mentioned he was supposed to be going to Maasdam for the new EXC program, then he said it might be changed.
