The OP's FCD OBC is not refundable but can be used for any charges while on the ship including the daily gratuity. Only the military OBC and any refunded port charges can be refunded after the cruise. They will send you a check within 3 or 4 weeks. I just received my refund from the last cruise which is abnormal for me between excursions and the daily gratuity. Any self funded OBC and TA OBC will also be refunded if not used.

Hi dear, will go on a Princess cruise with $150 shipboard credit as this cruise was booked with future cruise deposit. Just want to know if the unused shipboard credit is refundable before disembarkation. Thanks.

Use it or lose it.

A quick look around the board would find your answer. OBC granted by Princess is not refundable (military OBC is a reported exception). OBC from other sources- you, or your TA, for example- is refundable if not used.

If the OBC is really from the TA, then it can be refunded if not used.

However most OBC listed as coming from a TA is really from Princess and comes from the TA who uses Princess amenity points from volume bookings to get the OBC for you. In that case, the OBC is not refundable.

By the way the amenity points could be used by the TA to get you a bottle of wine, a Spa certificate, casino credit and several other amenities. However the amenity points can be used by the TA to get more commission and get nothing for you.

What is the fee for getting cash at the casino?

Is the fee deducted from the cash or added to onboard account?

No fee to use your cruise card to play in the casino. The casino does not act as a bank, but you can play the slots and cash out. You can also use cash, no fee there either.

Thanks for the inputs. Will use for the gratuities.

Happy cruising :)

You don't specifically designate how you use OBC. It is a credit posted to your on board account on the first day of your cruise. Whatever onboard charges you have are then just added as you incur them, and you have a running net balance. It's a simple credit/debit system.
