I understand that. Will they both be working as CD?

Some schedules show dates that don't overlap at all...some overlap by a week.

Best CD I had in eight cruises. Very energetic. We saw him all over the ship, all day long. We wondered if he ever slept!

For those who have sailed with Adam Cornes and Matt Mitchum, how does Adam measure up to Matt? Matt was such a great director! Fun, personable, and upbeat. He was the director on the Breeze.

Has anyone ever had Saffie Midgley as the CD???

First time ever sailing Carnival so I'm unsure of all of the names. Lol.

Not that a CD will make or break my vacation, but I do feel like the more energetic, fun, vibrant, and involved they are it plays a big part on how the cruise will be. Just curious to know.

First time ever sailing Carnival so I'm unsure of all of the names. Lol.

I've never heard of her before either. We have a few first time cruisers with us on our November cruise. Although a CD never breaks my cruise...they can certainly help make the cruise. I've had Mike Pack and Matt M.--they were both fantastic and hard to live up to.

Woohoo! I get Matt again for the Vista in December.:D

And I agree, Mike Pack was also great.

Has anyone sailed on the Liberty lately with Frankie Portera? I believe he just joined CCL in March but I haven't heard any reviews of him yet.

I'm excited to sail with Jamie Dee as cruise director again on my upcoming Legend cruise in Alaska. She was the CD on the Sunshine cruise I took a couple of years ago and was by far among the best ever.

Any feedback on Classy Cassie?

Our absolute favorite so far is Mike Pack - he was actually Assistant CD but made such an impression on the Legend in 2014.

Sailed with her and she did a great job. Mike is also one of the best ever.

Haley McMinn will be on the Conquest when we cruise in November. Anyone know anything about her?

Has anyone ever had Saffie Midgley as the CD???

She was my CD on the Triumph in January.

We had some rocky seas for the first couple of days on our cruise and one of our comedians missed the boat (literally) on the last day. The entertainment staff had to do a lot of shuffling, and I thought a good job was done all around with that.

Otherwise... she was all right. I'll say the same as I said for Mr. Brouman in another thread - suitable for ordinary use.

The way I read it. Is Emma Nixon on the sunshine until November?? I am on the sunshine in August. Really hope Emma is on it!

She was on the Miracle in April. I thought she was great. I usually don't notice the CD and she was around a lot, funny, and very friendly when out and about.

The only other cruise director that has stood out for me was Todd Whittimer. He's no longer with Carnival. He has a land job now.
