Ok so to flip it what has been your BIGGEST sea pass account bill on a cruise ?

Recommended Posts

On our first cruise this year we spent $4000, plus we took $2000 cash on board with us, and had prepaid our shore excursions so they werent included in that $4000!

Yeah but like us Brits you Aussies love your drink !

Not mine, but one poor lady was in tears at Guest Relations on 'pay day' as her bill was over $10,000. Apparently her kids had spent most of the cruise on the super slow, super expensive RC internet!

These kids need to spend their next few summers mowing lawns.

This is why my kids don't get charging privileges on their cards when we cruise, if they need something they can come find me and I will get it for them.

January 2010 on FOS- bill was $1400.00 for two-lots or drinks, bottles of wine, dinner in Chops twice plus 2 spa days (one was a couples massage and other was a pamper me day), and a few souvenirs for family from the ship. :D

$2,000 plus on a 7 day HAL cruise. Shore excursions pre-booked and gambling done in cash. It was Hubby's retirement cruise so we treated ourselves to some very good wine more than once, a few spa treatments, and visited the shops on board more than once. He retired in style.

One week. $3000 cash advance at the casino each night. Treated the group to Chops and Portofino's as a reward for a job well done. Drinks, spa for all the wives. It adds up.

I have four boys and on our first cruise my youngest discovered he could use his SeaPass card in the arcade...$5, $5, $5. My #3 son also discovered he could charge non-alcoholic daiquiris (for all his new friends). I checked out account on day #1 and discovered the two youngest had charged close to $600. I blocked their ability to charge and have not made that same mistake any our other trips.

I am not telling. I don't think it is anybody's business but mine.

No need to get testy. Simply don't reply when you think the question is nobody's business. Its like a bad program on TV - turn it off.

I noticed that Adventure had a $2400 per day charge allowance in the casino, so a 13 night cruise could be a costly bit of time. So it is possible at 2400 X 10 nights would be over $24,000; in a casino as tight as on Adventure!!!

It makes you wonder how much one could blow, on a Around the World, 100 night Cunard Voyage??
