Butch is non-stop... go... go... go!

He's like the Energizer Bunny! He's always doing something... teaching line dancing... running around on the Lido Deck... organizing this or that.

He's great!!

Remember how is last name is spelled... B E G O V I C H... might win you a ship on a stick!

we were thinking about sneaking up behind him and gagging him...a virtual chatterbox that would not shut up and ridicuosly G-rated..I hope we never have him as a cd again..sorry to sound negative but just being honest:cool:

We had him on Glory and loved him. On Dream we had Todd and I think he was very self-absorbed with no personality. I am hoping when we go on Dream again in April, it won't be Todd as the CD and that Butch will still be there.

Butch was always out and about and talking with passengers. Todd was rarely out and about and if anyone tried to talk to him, it was a great imposition. He doesn't belong as a CD.

We met him on our Liberty cruise in June and really liked him. He is one of 9 children, so maybe that's why he talks so much. He had to make himself heard somehow!

His disco dance class is hilarious!

Butch is an excellent CD. Like others have said, full of energy and truly loves his job. Very visible and approachable. Very genuine and has his own identity .....doesn't tell the same old jokes that most other CD's repeat again and again.

katiel53 - totally agree with everything you said. Butch comes back from his time off on Nov.27, our cruise Yay! so depending if his contract is 4 or 6 months, you may or may not have him in April.

We were on the Dream last December so this year, are looking forward to a different cruise experience with Butch as the CD.

Lots of energy - but lots of announcements continuously. Cd's will never make or break out cruise enjoyment - some we remember more than others - Butch- we remember.

He was the CD on our Glory cruise a while back and we had the same experience. Announcements would come on in the cabin and wake up the DW, much to her chagrin.

He's still infamous for that in our house.

I love Butch. He's my favorite. I've cruised with him twice on the Liberty, and had a great time. The guy is non stop energy, always go go go, but still always willing to stay after to talk to the guests. He was chatting with me when the captain called, and he told the captain he'd have to call him back! I can't imagine telling the captain to hold on while he finished his conversation, but he did. The guy is great.

you are certainly right on with the Energizer Bunny reference. I had Butch on my second Glory cruise. and at that point i was still holding out hope that Wee Jimmy would still be on (had him on Glory cruise #1). After a day on the ship with Butch which included the crazy Disco Dance class I knew he was a great CD and definately had more energy than Wee Jimmy. Gotta love the Minnesota accent as well, ya?

Was on Liberty in march... he is everywhere !

I think he never sleep... you may see him at the show at 8:30 pm, on the promenade at 10:00 pm, at the casino at 2:00 am, on the mooning show...
