If you won the lottery:

How long of a cruise would you take and where? A few weeks to a month & anywhere we tell them to go.

How many people would you invite to go with you? Enough to fill the private yacht we will rent (if not buy) and staff it.

What cabins would you get? The yacht will be all ours so Hubby & I will get first pick for a cabin! Family & friends can call dibs on what's left! :D

would definitely do a cruise around the world.........then cruise as often as possible. Where we went wouldn't matter, as long as I don't have to wait every 6 months like I do now. Definitely I would have an aft balcony, that's where I love to be, and not sure of how many I would invite, but we would all have an awesome time!

I already cruise about as long as I think I want to - up to about a month.

I wouldn't take very many free loaders, too many people have blown lottery winnings almost overnight. I might resell extra cabins at a discount.

I would get the best cabin available for us.

You didn't ask, but I would probably still smuggle booze, and almost all of the passenger areas and all cabins and balconies would be non-smoking. I might allow smoking off the back of the ship and perhaps one or two totally sealed interior areas.

Room service would include anything available on the ship.

Skeet shooting would be brought back.

There would be no platinum signature gift. :p

I'd book the best suite on the QM2, do a TA crossing from Southampton to NY and back again, staying in US for a while in between. I dont particularly like the idea of Cunard, just the QM2 has kennels on board, and on TA crossings, I could take my three labradors with me... they get their own lamp post apparently :)

Awww....walking up 5th Avenue with my three labs... priceless:D

If you won the lottery:

How long of a cruise would you take and where? I would take a two-week, back-to-back, Eastern/Western carib. cruise on the Allure of the Seas. Sorry, Carnival. (even if I didn't win the lottery, I am still considering it!)

How many people would you invite to go with you? Just my family

What cabins would you get? Royal Loft Suite

I think we'd take a long 10-14 day cruise to the Exotic Caribbean or Southern Caribbean. This would probably be just us 2, and maybe kids (if we have any). Later on, we'd take the whole family on a 5 or 7 day cruise somewhere. And of course we'd get a large balcony room on the back of the ship!!!:D Do I hear party time?;)

3 nights on the Sensation to the Bahamas on a 1A cabin.....NOT! :p

You gave me some food for thought! My chocolate labrador needs a vacation! :)

I'll sign up for a custom made cruise around the world on the Queen Mary 2. That way I can hit all the ports of call I've ever wanted to visit on one cruise. It would include overnight stays in Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, India, Dubai, Egypt, several ports along the Mediterranean, the Azores, Brazil, and NASSAU (kidding).

Definitely on the top Princess Grill Suite, private jet transportation to/from the ship, fully escorted private tours at every port of call, unlimited spa treatments for the entire 100+ days for the wife. I would invite as many friends and family as possible (after all, it's my private charter)!

I'm not sure which ship. My frame of reference is mostly Royal Caribbean. But I think something around 2 weeks would be good. I would do a Mediterranean route, and would probably want the Royal Suite. We toured that once, and it would definitely be a good way to go. I think we would invite some good friends to go along, probably 2 or 3 cabins worth.

World Cruise on Princess

A mini-suite or suite....

I would only take my parents on this cruise...

but then I would take all of my friends and family on a cruise followed by a stay in Orlando Florida to visit the theme parks....

Holland America - Fall Foliage from Montreal to Boston, cabin with a balcony.

Who am I bringing along? Anybody who wants to join me! Smokers are allowed to come, but keep in mind, I'm designating the ship as 100% smoke free! Oh! And the Hairy Chest Contest is PROHIBITED!!

(1) Probably 14 to 21 days through Europe and Asia, any more and I may get bored. I will go home, rest up, and when I feel the call of the ocean again I will simply book another trip.

(2) My immediate family and closest friends.

(3) Royal Loft Suite on the Oasis of the Sea. I am sorry, but if I win the lottery I will probably leave Carnival. While Carnival offers good value for money, its suites pale in comparison to the other line's high end offerings.

We talk about this all the time....We would start off with a world cruise in the best suite the ship would offer. We would then, invite family & friends on another cruise. We would spend the majority of time after that cruising. We would keep a place close to our children, but would be off cruising for the most part. Awww....to dream!!!
