yes they have fridges in all the cabins on the Breeze - however they are not as cold as your fridge back home - so may not be suitable for all medications - you may have to find out temps for meds and see if they need to be stored elsewhere?

Thanks. I believe they should be fine if under 50f.

Any critiques on the Seadogs hotdogs? This place seems to not get any attention.

I just got off the Breeze sailed Sept 28th. Our biggest complaint was the ships air conditioning did not work well the 1st 5 days. We called it the hot ship. I don't think the workers were as attentive as I have experienced in the past. The ship was beautiful and the itinerary was perfect.

A little off subject but maybe someone can give me their 2 cents worth. We are doing the 6 day cruise stopping in Jamaica, Nassau and Grand Turk. In one of our stops I want to pick up a good bottle of wine for a present for a relative. Heres the problem I have NO Wine knowledge at all, so does anyone have any recommendations for something special at one of the stops? Thanks in advance.

Of the three ports you're visiting, the easiest would be to buy a bottle at the main shop in Grand Turk that you need to walk through to get to anywhere you want to go. They have a good selection. I would research on the ship to give you an idea as to what is available and what they charge on the ship and then compare with what they have in the store on Grand Turk. A good Chardonnay is always a safe bet for a gift since some people do not like reds.

My main concern is to find a good wine that they wouldn't find here. Do you you know if Grand Turk has its own wineries that would have wine at the Grand Shop. Don't want to buy a bottle of something there and transport all the way back to the states a bottle of something they can buy down the street.

DH and I did a B2B. First we were on the Oasis of the Sea (beautiful ship & great entertainment) afterward we stayed over night at the W Fort Lauderdale hotel we were upgraded to a two bedrooms condo. Loved the W. Next day SAS picked us up and drove us to Port of Miami ( we do two cruises per year and this port is rated very poorly in knowledge and service) in our opinion. My husband recently had knee replacement surgery and I asked about special assistant from two agents and each knew less then the other. Very disappointed. Anyhow the Breeze is a beautiful ship. The italian restaurant serves pasta for lunch without a fee. This is not to be missed. You chose between three type of pasta, several type of sauces, chose shrimp, chicken and saugages then you can have the cook some toss some vegetables. Another one of my favorite is the Tandora. As good any top Indian restaurant. Got off the Breeze this morning staying a couple of days in Miami before heading home. We are booked at the W South Beach. Nice suite is nice but not at all like the W in Fort Lauderdale. Sunbathing on the balcony and looking out to the ocean. Hopecully to catch a glimpse of the Breeze around 5:30pm. For those of you that is sailing the Breeze in the near future. Enjoy!!

Great information!

I was on the Breeze last year, with soo much to do and soo little time I wasn't able to enjoy all the features! This year will be different since I am on a B2B and this is very helpful.

Thanks!

Ship usually gets into port fairly early - and self debarkation can begin as early as 7 or 7:30 am - by 9 am -9:30 am most everyone is off the ship I believe?

Remember the room stewards and staff have to 'turn' around the ship for the next group of cruises who will already be arriving at the port at 10 - 11 am - so they do 'encourage' you to get off the ship so they can do what they need to do before the next passengers get onboard!

Cruising Mickey, don't worry about your stateroom location, you can't hear any noise from the Lido deck unless maybe a little ancillary noise when you're sitting on your balcony. You chose the perfect location for a stateroom (as far as I'm concerned)...I'll be sailing on this cruise with you and our room is located a few doors from yours. We love staying on the Lido deck when we cruise, it's a quick walk to the buffet, Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana and that yummy Thirsty Frog red draft and close to the forward elevators.

Key West is a great place to visit if you haven't been there before and Cozumel and Grand Cayman has something to offer for everyone. We went to Paradise Beach in Cozumel the last time we cruised, it is beautiful there and there is no high per person, all inclusive, charge. It cost us $2 each for a lounge chair and we bought snacks and drinks from the bar. In Grand Cayman, we took a shared taxi to Calico Jacks and LOVED it there.

Have a great wedding!!

We are doing this itinerary on the Breeze Sept. 2014. Could you tell me about Calico Jacks? Thanks, 300+ days to go...ugh. :D
