Anyone else getting a Malware pop up when using the boards?

The last 2 days whenever I try to use the boards my virus protection is catching malware threats. Then my computer closes the connection to the boards. It doesn't happen when I open the main CC page only when I try to access the boards. I'm using my work computer now and hope I am not infecting it!

 

I've done all the clean ups I can think of but am a bit afraid to try to get back on at home. Can't afford a new computer right now.

I haven't had any issues. I don't know what security you have. I have McAfee.

I am getting the same tried allways to get round it. Avast say its a website problem and not to stop your anti virus

Yep...Avast caught it yesterday and McAfee flagged it today (on a different pc).

Yes, for 2 days now. I have avast. If i click on message boards malware warnings then blank page. I had to back into the message boards by going to editor reviews first, member reviews, then message boards.

 

Sure wish someone at cruise critic would work on this.

I havent seen it but guess not a bad idea to do a scan now.

I have this problem also. I can only access the forums on my phone. I tried different browsers to no avail.

Cruise Critic knows about it... seems to only be people who use AVAST anti-virus. AVAST knows about it as well they are trying to get it resolved.

My Kapersky has been catching something also.

my avast caught it too. Got a little concerned but being so close to my cruise I went on my moms tablet:-)

I looks like the offending code has been removed. Avast will now allow access to the boards.:D

:confused:I am not getting any warnings, but threads are showing with no replies, such as this one and when I open it there are several replies.

I was, I added an exception to my anti virus software that fixed the issue. I think that there is a definition that was recently updated that is in error.

 

What AVS are you using?

I just use the free version. I have never had any problems really on my home computer.

Try doing a forced virus definitions update and it should resolve itself.

My Avast blocked it all day yesterday and this morning. It was only on this site and I couldn't access anything on Cruise Critic.

I also had issues with Avast. I googled the error last night and it seems to happen every so often when something gets updated and it creates a bug. All seems to be back to normal now.

I use Kaspersky which catches everything and it's been showing me these Malware issues for a couple of months now on certain pages of posts on here. My virus software recognizes it as an Http:// problem and blocks the problem while still letting me view the site. But, it's a pain in the rear.

all of these warning is caused by the AD's found on the site, it is something that cruisecritic dont have control over that much
