Fall 2012 All-Stars Season of DWTS Formal Gowns

Recommended Posts

Val has never won either but I am not a Kelly fan......

Me either, and after Val's speedo outfit, not so sure about him either. My problem with this year is I really wanted Gilles, to win, followed by Sabrina or Apolo. But, I am trying to judge by the best dancing, not who I like best, so I go with Melissa. Shawn has already won and I didn't think she was the best dancer when she won; to me, her gymnast background is a big advantage.

Shawn's freestyle should be interesting but I wonder how much dancing it will contain? Just read this online about it and it sound to me like Derek may have jumped the shark with the stunt casting.

"Shawn Johnson's getting some gold medal help for the "Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" finale. This year's Olympic champions, the Fierce 5 -- Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross, and Jordyn Wieber -- will join Johnson for the freestyle dance on the Monday, November 26 episode of Dancing With the Stars."

I have watched faithfully all the DWTS shows and loved all of them, but I do not vote. I don't think I can pick a favorite since I have enjoyed all of them. Each couple from the beginning has brought something to the show, and I looked forward to seeing what everyone was going to do.

Tonight was really great dancing, but I don't agree with Shaun and Derrick breaking so many of the rules in their first dance. Seems to me they should have been more considerate of the judges, and really only Len scored them for their rule breaking. It was a very entertaining segment, but they could have just waited for the free style. As good as they are, I am sure they could have danced to the rules and received 10s. Don't get me wrong, I really like them but am afraid they ruined their own chances.

I really thing whoever has the largest fan club will win the prize. In the past, the reason that so many of the football players won was that they have huge fan clubs who faithfully voted for them.

I will be sad after tomorrow that there won't be any DWTS to watch for a while.

I watched the show and thought they all did well , I just like Tony he seems like such a nice guy, were he and Melissa the best , not so sure. I just don't really care for Val and Kelly , just my opinion , the whole big romance thing is over the top for me. And I think Shawn should have told Derek that they should stick to the rules this time, and not let him influence her to "go for it" , that is if she really wanted to win. Just don't know . I really don't have a big favorite in the last three, so I guess whoever wins , it's ok.

But still no mention of Brooks illness.

We are leaving for a cruise in 3 days , so don't know if I will have time to get back on the boards , so been nice chatting with you. See you next season, if there is a next season.

Have a great cruise Cori!

I'm not a big fan of modern dance, but Tony and Melissa did a decent job.

Not sure what to think about Val and Kelly's, I'll have to watch it again.

I found the the Fierce 5 in Shawn and Derek's dance a bit distracting. I wanted to see what they were doing too.

I don't usually vote, but I have the last two weeks through Facebook.

I thought Melissa and Tony did a fabulous job! Tony really deserves to finally win -- he's been stuck with some real losers in the past. He finally got a good partner, so I hope this is HIS time to shine!

Kelly and Val were okay. Their Paso Doble` was beautiful. I wasn't as impressed with their freestyle.

Shawn and Derek...I hate to see breaking the rules get rewarded. And I felt their scores from the judges -- except from Len -- did just that. And I suspect the voting will also fall in their favor somewhat because they took that risk. And their freestyle was far more gymnastics than it was dancing. And talk about playing to the audience? Yeah, bring in the Fierce 5 and watch how your votes come rolling in!

I think tonight will be interesting. I WANT Melissa and Tony to win, but I fear it will be Shawn and Derek.

Still disappointed that Apollo did not make the finals. Not sure why Derek & Shawn felt they needed to break the for their audience as they could have done a really great quick step that the audience would have loved without breaking rules.

I think Melissa and Tony will win. I think their freestyle was very nice but not exciting. Kelly & Val danced well but again, were not exciting. Shawn's routines always look like gymnastic routines with some dancing thrown in to me.

Did not vote as this year I really don't care!:( I did like Brooke's dress!

Count me in aboard the Tony and Melissa train. I think she's the best all-around dancer out of the finalists, and out of the 14 seasons that Tony has been on the show, she's really been only his second decent partner (the first being Stacy Kiebler). He deserves a break! Plus I liked their freestyle. Even though it wasn't spectacularly exciting, I thought it was beautiful without having to add a lot of bells and whistles.

This was the finals, and should have been judged that way. Shawn did break the rules and should have been penalized---why they didn't is beyond me, but to be fair, she should have been judged down, if not for the rules then for Derek being far too egotistical.

Val and Kelly did have mistakes on their Paso. She totally missed a major move when she failed to grab his hand, but they all passed over it except for Carrie Ann who just made a passing comment. If this weren't the finals, then maybe OK. But it IS the finals and a misstep like that should have been counted down.

Sorry, but I've totally disliked Melissa since her crying-all-the-time, totally fake, Bachelor days. Out of all the competitors, she's the one I cheered against the whole time. I love Tony, he's always been my favorite Pro, but Melissa has bugged me the whole way, but I think she'll win, darn.

And Yeah, I did break my rule and did watch the finals show. I'm bad.

I loved both of Brooke's dresses this week, but especially the red one tonight. Has she gotten a different stylist? Most dresses this season were much classier.

There were some amazing dances tonight; wish we could comment on the results, but I don't want to spoil it for any west-coasters.

My SIL who doesn't watch DWTS phoned me for 40 mins so I'm watching some of the second show over now.

I loved Joey and Kim's dance with the kids in the Back to the Future theme. So cute and that little boy just flew when Joey tossed him!

I hadn't noticed before that Kelly and Val were practising in a tent in the parking lot, Melissa and Tony are inside, don't know about Shawn.

What was that thing that Pamela Anderson did? I can't call it dancing, but it wasn't quite porn. What a waste of Tristan viewing time.

I enjoyed the show last night, and thought it very well put together. I think that Derrick might have learned a lesson because being the last place finisher from the judges on Monday really hurt them in the overall scoring. I am happy for Tony. He really seemed over the moon about the win.

This was such an entertaining season that they are really going to have to scramble to get good people for next spring.

First of all, I LOVED Brooke's dress last night! Absolutely beautiful!!

I was so happy for Melissa -- and especially Tony!! I loved that they looked to be totally surprised to have won. I agree, I think Derek may have learned a lesson. Yeah, those 3 points between them and Melissa and Tony after Monday night really came back to bite them in the backside.

Ok, since hopefully everyone knows now, I am happy Tony and Melissa won--especially Tony. I was expecting it to be Shawn and Derek, because she seems to have such a huge fan base.

I agree that it was foolish of them to flaunt the rules once again, and may have cost them the championship. Derek knows what the judges will and will not accept and he, with Shawn's approval, decided to break the rules anyway.

I kind of disagree that this was the best season ever; I like watching novices become good dancers better than watching the best dancers from past seasons become better. Of course, some of this season's dancers weren't exactly, or even close to, champions.

However, the dancing itself was amazing.

I'm very happy that Tony and Melissa won. Tony looked to be just over the moon and he seems like such a good guy.

Derek seemed to have Shawn break almost a rule a week it seemed. Maybe he thought he could get away with it since he's a three time champion. Derek and Maks have both suggested that they may not be back next season.

It wasn't quite porn, no, but her pouting and provocative posing struck me as somewhat desperate. And inappropriate for DWTS. Ick.

Very inappropriate for a fairly family friendly show. Pam is the same age as me and Canadian, so it just agravates me worse when she trying nothing but her blond, bimbo, airhead act. She was not bad when she started acting on Home Improvement with Tim Allen. I think her two boys are 16 and almost 15; just imagine what type of girls they'll think they can bring home.

Pam does come off as very desperate. I do feel sorry for someone like her, who is mostly known as a 'sex kitten, bimbo' type, because age catches up with us all, and in Hollywood the actresses who are able to accept it and age gracefully are few. The criticism for what is normal aging can be brutal.

And, plastic surgery cannot make 50 look like 20.
