Just for fun: your ship name "of the seas"

I haven't read through all of the posts either. From what I did see, Joy Of The Seas was my favorite. So simple. When they had the Oasis/Allure contest, I submitted Rhythm of the Seas and Rhyme of the Seas. I still like those names, too. I was surprised that the the Oasis/Allure names did not relate to each other.

Keeping with the sunshine project. How about names

Sunshine of the Sea

Apollo of the Sea (Roman sun god)

Helios of the Sea (Greek sun god)

Ra of the Sea (Egyptian sun god)

Or maybe they could start the new class with gem names

Diamond of the Sea

Sapphire of the Sea

Emerald of the Sea

I like Joy of the Seas also. When they had the contest for Oasis/Allure, they indicated they wanted names describing the kind of vacation you'd find on these big ships (same idea for the Freedom class)

On the other end of spectrum...

'Upsell of the Seas',

'Gratuity of the Seas',

'In Queue of the Seas'

Also

'Purell of the Seas'

and her sistership

'Freedom of DiSease'.

They all feature Early, Late and My Time whining.

:D

Just kidding...

Many years ago, we had a fun thread about Mustard of the Seas, in honor of the posters who talked about Mustard Drill and Stewart.

Funny, it seems like they've used all the perfect names.

Titan of the Seas seems too heavy, Lyric of the Seas too light.

Why not go for a series based on the Olympians - pick either the Greek or Roman names

eg

Zeus of the Seas

Poseidon of the Seas (might be a problem given the movie - probably better as Neptune of the Seas)

Athena of the Seas

Apollo of the Seas

Aphrodite of the Seas

etc
