Big picnic style wooden tables you share so you get to meet new people (or not :rolleyes:). Paia is a great little wind surfing town, lots of shops and one more really great stop that I will show you later. ;)

You know a few years ago I had the idea of doing a cruise where the CC members on land vote on the things a drone (i.e. you) would do.

So we might vote on go to Windjammer or MDR or Brazillian Steakhouse for dinner. Watch the show, go to casino, etc.

Now this is almost making that possible.

have a fun rest of the day in Hawaii. What time do we all have to be back on the ship?

Are you in Maui overnight? I am interested in overnight parking near the ship & how the rental car works. I know they brought the car to you. Do you have to take it aback to the rental agency? If so, where is it? Do they shuttle you back to the ship?

 

We were on the POA on our last cruise to Hawaii and car rental in Maui was very easy. Next time on the Rhapsody we will be on the other side of the island (Lahaina - like you). I would like to rent a car, but have no idea how it works or if we can even keep the car overnight.:confused:

We are doing that now. We dropped the car at the Kapalua Airport and are waiting for the shuttle back to Lahaina.

So I don't know how the gelato rating system works but I think location needs to factor into the total. So guava and passion fruit gelato in Paia Maui Hawaii on a picture postcard day should rate a nine. :p

The weather has been amazing. We even had a relatively calm clear day in Hilo with no rain which I hear is unusual.

9:30 but for us it will probably be closer to 6 as we are starting to wear down :o

There's lots of parking in Lahaina tho' it's not free. Tenders dock near the harbor/ferry dock (Banyan Tree area).
