It's official-the cruise is cancelled,25% creditor next cruise, and can stay free until the 30th. It's a shame, but at this point it's what I was looking for. Just the waiting has been a drag. A cruise would have been great, but at this point I'm just done.

All in all I feel RCIs offer is very generous. We're electing to leave in the morning (would have left tonight but vehicle parking lots are closed until 7am).

I really feel for the crew-we can all well imagine that since this started they've been working nonstop. Yet, they're the same wonderful staff. I hope people leave generous tips as we leave.

Totally agree that they've been very fair. We have decided to stay at least a few days. I believe our friends will be leaving tomorrow. I'm just going to treat it as a very inexpensive vacation. Just thinking that the Coushatta Casino is only three hours away. Maybe take a day trip since we have our car.

That really stinks for everyone onboard; but at least RCL is giving options especially for those that may not be able to get flights or be able to afford changing a flight. :(

Hate to hear that. Hopefully you will be able to reschedule before too long.

sad situation for all of the pax...this time of year so many are on hard earned family vacations making it hard when it does not work out.

Guess in morning we will see if CCL will follow along with Princess and RCCL. I guess for CCL it is a two ship decision.

I hope the pod of dolphins that play in the harbor and follow the ships out haven't been harmed by the oil :(. I always start looking for them shortly after boarding whatever ship I'm on.

We saw two off and on all day, and there were several large oil slick also. It's not a good mix. I hope they get it cleaned up soon. The wildlife is going to be hurt I'm afraid.

We are staying on Nav until Friday. We are getting 100 percent of the cruise cost back, 25% off another one and ship activities go on as usual. Ice show tomorrow. Sabor dining tomorrow night. RC did the best they could given it was not their fault.

Sounds like most making what they can of the messed up vacation. At least we don't hear much cruise line bashing over this which is good...not like they hit the barge.

So far Princess and RCCL have done a good job with comp for the missed cruises.

very sorry that long planned vacations have been turned upside down & admire those that are making lemonade out of lemons.

Are they letting people get off and on the ships? If so, I guess you could turn it into an extended Galveston vacation, especially for those not from that part of Texas.

It does stink, but I guess getting 25% off future cruise isn't too bad for those who cruise often.

Webcam shows her off the dock likely as part of the hull cleaning. Haven't heard that the channel is opened up yet for ships.

Magic is leaving with one more inspection once it completely leaves therapy. The triumph is due to leave at 5. Per the carnival board and the port.

Good to see one sail finally. One of 4...with one more later today. Hope the Magic can evade oil on the way out since they will probably serve as a test vessel for other ships...pick up too much oil and maybe more cleanup before the let other ships out...not too much and a quick hull scrub once offshore will be all that's needed.

Wonder how the Navigator passengers are feeling about now, watching the Magic sailaway & the Triumph going later............. bummer. :(

Maybe RC made a hasty decision?

Feel bad for the folks on the Navigator.
