Harmony Keel Blocks are in the House... well they're outside actually!

USA Today has a feature today on the construction of the Harmony of the Seas.

Loved the trip down memory lane with those pictures. Feels like we have been following our baby's construction for forever now! At the bottom of the article they link to a photo gallery of Anthem of the Seas as well... I just keep thinking about what a big jump Royal made in interior design when they did Quantum-class. If they apply that same style to Harmony, which it sounds like they will do at least partially, this ship is going to blow away everything else! I can't wait to experience it.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Lloyd555 for all these pics.

It's fascinating to see the Harmony growing from a giant construction kit into a fabulous cruise ship, that's going to provide so many unforgettable moments for so many people.

We are sailing on Ovation of the seas in April next year, she is in the sheds just now getting assembled . Can't wait, it will be her sail after her maiden voyage .

Yep, spotted my cabin, (and the other 3 cabins of our group). They'd better take those sheets down from the balcony, or the view will be spoiled :):)

It's been a little slow on Harmony news lately, but I hear we may be getting some new info about the Broadway show soon? I think it was Nick Weir yesterday on Twitter who dropped a hint that news was forthcoming.

Now there is a tweet about using Montreal's Moment Factory (Quantum Two70 shows) to create a show for Harmony.

Is the construction running ahead of schedule?

Rather bemused that Royal have inserted a 4 and 3 day cruise before what I understood would be the 'inaugural' cruise on 29 May.

Yes, that´s what I´ve heard - they are running ahead of schedule.

I´m not quite sure but I think when they first opened booking for the Harmony they started out with the June 7th (or even 12th) cruise out of Barcelona. The May 29th-June 5th from Southampton to Barcelona was added later. Now they´ve added one more week (May 22nd, 26th) out of Southampton.

I would think Wicked would still be too expensive to license ... it would be something lesser known or that already has a movie.
