Was just able to buy a $500 gift card on Verizon....this morning it said they were sold out but now they are available. Move fast!!

PS...be careful as it looks like these need to be mailed (not e gift card)...so if your cruise is soon you might not want to go this route.

I just managed to get 3 $500 cards, does anyone know how long shipping takes? The only delivery option was "mail" so these are not delivered via email.

My final payment is due in 3 weeks, I just want to make sure these will be here by then or else it will be a waste of money. I don't see anywhere on the order where it gives an expected delivery date.

You'll have them next week.

I just got five more to pay down our balance. ten percent off my suite is almost too good to be true.

Cool. I hope some $100's show up now, I need 3 or 4 of those and then I should be good. I actually could probably get another $500 and be safe but I don't want to spend over what my current budget looks like just to save a few more bucks, I'm happy saving $150.

 • 2 weeks later...
How does it work for the casino? If I have $500 in GC but only end up using $350, how can I use the remainder at the casino or can I get cash back?

Thanks!
You make a charge from a slot machine to your players account, then cash out your balance on the players club card in the casino.

You have to apply the gift card to your s&s account once on board. After that it can be used for anything. For casino, transfer $ from s&s to players acct. Play what you want. Cash out when done.
I usually get what I need first,(cheers, ets) then check my balance at a kiosk. (I prepay gratuities so at end of cruise i have the s&s balance to play with). I pull the balance to my players acct the last sea day or evening and enjoy some slot play. Edited by tnt_mommy

Unless you run into a serious problem with inventory or something, it takes a week to 10 days max. Very few hiccups with these cards but nothing is perfect. I ran into one shipping delay earlier this year and I think that was the case for everyone who ordered that same day. Cards took a little over two weeks to arrive. Otherwise no issues or big delays in delivery. And I buy at least one every time they are available.
