Favorite item on the Seaday Brunch menu?

I love corned beef hash and just as an FYI they will bring you a side of hash with anything :) I ate it everyday on my last cruise.

I've only been to it once on the Ecstasy last year, but I really enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. Carnival's are better than Royal's, so I miss them when I'm cruising other lines.

Question??? Is a regular breakfast served in the mdr on port days? Or, do we have to eat at the buffet or order room service? The last time we cruised with carnival it was on the Triumph in 2011 and we ate breakfast in the mdr each morning. I am excited about the brunch, food looks yummy!!!

Your chance of getting a "non runny" eggs Benedict is pretty good. Because of I guess the galley staging them and then they almost looked broiled before there plated. I think I went 3 out of 4 not runny on pride two weeks ago

With four sea days on my upcoming cruise, I can't wait to try some of these delicious sounding and looking items. I hope to try the flamin' tomato soup, bagel breakfast, eggs benedict at least, and if I still have room, that banana pie sounds very good.:)

No, those are fried cheese balls that come with the huevos rancheros. They are divine. I personally don't like their hash browns, but I'm rather picky when it comes to food for me :D

This past week I went to brunch at 8 30 and then again at 12:30 before they closed. The lido lunch buffet wasn't appealing.

Correct. Not a buffet but you can order as much as you like.

The Flamin' Tomato soup is excellent, as is the Steak & Eggs. The Bloody Mary's are the BEST I have ever had & I am a Bloody Mary ADDICT!!! Don't miss the brunch - it is great!!!:p

Decided on the Seaday Brunch on the Sunshine back in May.

 

Great steak and eggs, plus a big vote for the salmon on bagel. I never liked salmon before I had it there. Great taste. And this is coming from a buffet man.

I'm excited to try the steak and eggs this next cruise. On our last one I stuck with pancakes and eggs benedict. This time I'm trying the steak and eggs and the french toast crusted with fruit loops...I'll probably get pancakes again too.

 

But I'm mostly excited for our free drink. 9am free Mojito...nothing wrong with that :D

Everything I've had was great. I love the bagel breakfast (smoked salmon with cream cheese and bagel) even though I can get that in room service or the regular breakfast on port days. I plan to try the salmon eggs benedict next time.

 

The cheesy grits are great too. I'm not a huge salad person, but the Caesar salad with jerked bacon was better than I expected.

 

Of the entrees available, I've had the pork chop, steak and eggs, and huevos rancheros, and all were awesome. On my next cruise I will be trying something I haven't had yet....and maybe one of the old favorites

I always order Eggs benedict and the huevos rancheros with banana cream pie for dessert. Yummy. And then wash it down with my free long island iced tea.
