Royal Caribbean,and NCL are among many cruise lines that have no charge for self service launderettes -- because they don't have any self service launderettes! Disney also charges for self-service laundry. Oceania is as close to luxury as most folks will get, but it is an a la carte cruise line -- one pays for certain services if one uses them. The only line we've ever sailed on that had free laundry was the QE2 ... but she is gone. You do NOT have to bring your own detergent. At least the PR firm got that part right.
