Queen Mother of toots!

 

"Queen Mary 2 has an extremely powerful whistle. Of her three whistles, one is actually an original taken from Queen Mary of 1936. If you look carefully at the video, you can identify this whistle as the one with steam being expelled when sounded (it's on the funnel).

QM2's horn is an A, two octaves below middle-A. It can be heard 10 miles away."

 

Those are very deep toots, believe me they sound a lot different in person.
