Freedom Entertainment - How often does it change?

We are just off Freedom last week and booked the 8 night for next April.

So my question is, how often do they change out the entertainment?

I mean the main show in Arcadia as well as the other acts such as comedian, Drew Thomas the Illusionist, Ice Show and the Schooner lounge pianist?

Just wondering if we will see the same shows?

Main shows change every 5 to 6 years +.

Drew Thomas seems to be glued to the Freedom.

Ice show, same as main stage shows.

Guest entertainers like comedians, jugglers, aerialists, etc., change from cruise to cruise.

Schooner bar pianists come and go, varying with the lengths of their contracts.

You have it right about Drew Thomas, he's been on the ship since it first sailed. I wonder if he's changed his act at all?

We sailed the Freedom last year and will sail her again in Sept., so I'll see if his act is the same as last year's. It would be nice if he changed it every so often.

I was hoping you weren't going to say that...my wife may kill me for booking the same ship...but I really wanted the extra day...lol

We are counting the days until our Western on the Freedom on 6/5. We enjoy going to the pub in the evening. Does anyone from a recent sailing know who the guitar player was in the pub?

Send an e mail to web_reservations@rccl.com, they should be able to provide you a list of all the entertainment for your sailing.

Note the underscore between web and reservations.

Does the Freedom have a off-Broadway version of anything like, say for example, Saturday Night Fever on the Liberty?

No.

Closest show Freedom has to Broadway is called Marquee, just another RC production show.

Hey Robyn,

Are you staying in a PR again for your upcoming FOS cruises?

Hey there :) That's a great question!!! I had originally booked a PR, however I changed to a balcony as an early Birthday present to myself :p:p

We'll be on the Freedom next Sunday (8/14). Have not received a response from email sent to reservations, but will let you know what I find onboard!

We just got off Freedom two weeks ago.

Drew Thomas still puts on a good show. Only one small new part added to his act.

Heard from entertainment manager that they won't be changing the production shows any longer. They will be just moving the ships to different locations.

haha... we did the same thing. We wanted to visit PR and St. Kitts and the extra day was a bonus.

All the same shows we saw in 2014.

I am hoping that some of the live music and lounge performers has changed.

Nice. I snagged 6321 for my next FOS cruise which I think is located very close to the PR you had on your Indy trip. We'll do what we can to keep FOS in good shape for you....

We will also be on the Freedom on the 8/14 sailing. Myself, hubby, son and family. Hopefully we will meet you on the ship!! Are you all going to the meet and greet? Chris

Absolutely! I am in the roll-call thread as well. You will definitely meet us then. Any idea when it is scheduled for?

It's many years before they change.
