Just looked, and saw FTTF is available again. I bought it and now I'm even more excited. I said I would never sail without FTTF again. 31 more days!!! This cruise should be one for the books. Its a 25th birthday present to myself and I've decided to try out the Cheers! package. Being from NOLA, I love to drink. I'm curious as to if I will reach the 15 drink limit. I figure 2 mimosas and a bloody mary/maria for breakfast. Then a couple drinks and a couple shots throughout the day. Then a pre-dinner martini or 2 lol. Then a drink with dinner. Ooops i forgot the spiked coffee before breakfast. Hell, I may have one of those after dinner too!

Okay after I have written all of that down, I see thats 13 drinks by dinner easily. Leaving me with only 2 free drinks to end the night with. I guess sea days will be the hardest to not reach the 15 drinks. And yeah I know I can pay for drinks before 15, but I refuse to buy any drinks onboard. Maybe I'll enter the mixologist contest and win a couple free drinks.

I know this is a lot to read but I needed somewhere to vent. None of my friends are crazy cruise lovers like myself. I feel like I am annoying them when I am constantly talking about cruising. Oh well, hopefully my best friend will become hooked on this next cruise.

HAPPY CRUISING YALL!!! :)

Well you have indeed come to the correct place to "vent" :D around here you can talk all about your cruise! FTTF is amazing and if available I will always get it. I have not ever used CHEERS because I'm afraid I just won't get my $ worth. Happy Birthday early and enjoy your cruise!

  • 2 weeks later...
I was saying I refuse to buy more drinks after I have reached my 15 drink limit.

Not a problem because they won't sell them to you........

Some heavy drinkers suggest stop putting them on your Cheers account at the 12th or 13th drink.....charge some on your Sign & Sail ...and save the last two to end the night - or 24 hr period with.

Considering the cost of the various drinks if you were putting them on your Sign & Sail card, it doesn't take very long to match the $57 a day....rather than try and beat the 15 drinks a day....beat what you're paying - anything over the $57 a day is a "freebie" so to speak.......3 Mojitos, 3 beers, and 2 glasses of wine, and you're over the $57 ....and only had 8 drinks.....

My cousin and I purchased the cheers package for our cruise last week on the Carnival Splendor. We hit our limit on the first three days of our cruise and during the remaining five, we were two to three drinks away from our limit. I like the cheers because I tried different drinks that I wouldn't have tried before. My cousin and I did the same thing you did. We did mimosa's on our (three) sea days, cocktails and blended drinks (w/patron) and then at dinner we had wine. By the time we hit the club we had three drinks remaining before hitting our limit.

I'm a cruisaholic. We're already booked on the Carnival Magic (8/5/17). My parents usually wait until I search through the itineraries bc I plan and organize our cruises lol. I love cruising. The cruise we're really waiting for is the European itineraries to be released on the Carnival Horizon

Ha! I reached my limit on Day 1 cruising out of NOLA. LOL. It was sucking down vodka and cranberrys in the casino that did me in. The poor cocktail waitress was very apologetic. I told her "Don't worry. I have obviously had enough!" LOL. Luckily by day 2 I earned the free drink card in the casino and that does not count toward the 15 drink daily limit, so there is a goal for you! Enjoy your cruise!
