Sprigs616 Posted March 16 #1683 Share Posted March 16 (edited) I just booked a 17-night cruise to Australia departing from Honolulu on October 1, 2024 and ending in Sydney. Celebrity Solstice / balcony cabin / single occupancy about $2800, including tax and gratuities (not including flights, wifi, drinks, or excursions). Booked online directly with Celebrity. Ports ... Honolulu (Oahu), Hawaii / Moorea, French Polynesia / Papeete, Tahiti / Raiatea, French Polynesia / Auckland, New Zealand / Bay Of Islands, New Zealand / Sydney, Australia. Definitely not a cheap cruise but I think it’s a good deal. Edited March 16 by Sprigs616 Added source 9

LRY229 Posted March 19 #1685 Share Posted March 19 Just booked MSC Seashore out of Port Canaveral, 5/19-26/24. 7 night western, in a Balcony (Fantastica) for less than $700. Yesterday the inside guarantee was more than that. It definitely pays to keep checking. I've been wanting to try MSC - for that price I couldn't go pass it up. 8

ILgirl Posted April 6 #1688 Share Posted April 6 Celebrity Eclipse 7 night Eastern Caribbean on 10/21/24 from Ft. Lauderdale. Full disclosure, inputting the FL resident in the reservation dropped the price by several hundred dollars. Prime inside, cruise only, approximately $900. Gratuities are an additional $126. Classic pkg and internet adds another $600. I always book AI but I am Elite and play in the casino so I thought I would test the cruise only out and see how I come out cocktail wise using Elite and cocktails while playing.

The same fare ($909) applies for California residents. It’s important to always put in your state of residency when price shopping. 2

mg93901 Posted April 16 #1691 Share Posted April 16 (edited) NCL Jewel 7-day Seward to Vancouver April 22-29 Solo Sail Away Inside $229++ ($542.59 total) (I don't drink, so I unticked the included drink package gratuities.) If I hadn't already done this (the reverse) last May, I'd consider it. Edit to add: I booked an Inside last year and successfully bid $200 total (2 x $100) for a Balcony. latebuyer Posted April 20 #1694 Share Posted April 20 It looks like the 14 day voyage of the glaciers on princess on may 22 doesn’t have the full single supplement. Lots of tax though.

bones774 Posted April 30 #1696 Share Posted April 30 Just saw Island Princess out of Bklyn on June 4, 10 days r/t. Very odd itinerary, think they are calling it a Heritage tour or something. Very little solo sup. I/s $484, taxes and fees are a bit high at nearly $400.
BEAV Posted April 30 #1697 Share Posted April 30 Great rate for an equally nice itinerary. It’s not all that untypical for late Spring or Fall. As a West Coaster, NY, Boston, Halifax and Charleston are all enticing. Different strokes for different folks! Thanks for posting. 👍🚢
Rare Host Kat Posted April 30 #1698 Share Posted April 30 FYI to all reading this thread, Numerous posts have been removed due to being off topic thread drift aka hijacking, mentioning a TA or some other source/venue for cruise purchase, and containing quotes of removed posts. This is a friendly reminder regarding the title of this thread, "Post CRUISE LINE Single Supplement/Solo Bargains HERE". The topic is bargains offered by the CRUISE LINES only... NOT travel agents/agencies (online, brick & mortar, big box, etc.), promoters of hosted group cruises for singles/solos or any other source/venue for cruise purchase. Please see the Travel Agent Recommendations and Advertising is Not Allowed sections in the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships. In this thread, this also means no screen shots of cruise bargains from any website other than a cruise line website. Perhaps a copy/paste of the first post by cruisinryan on the previous thread with the same title will be helpful: A thread for single supplement/solo bargains is very helpful for solo cruisers. 🙂 There used to be one, but it disappeared 😕 ...maybe it got too big. So let's start another one and see what happens. 😄 Post all those great deals everyone! 😄 But remember, you can't mention specific travel agencies, just general info like: "Cruise line .... currently has good prices for solo occupancy on .... sailing". Note the above states general info for cruise line, ship name and sail date are all that has been requested. Please feel free to add the itinerary or info regarding the cruise that will be helpful to those waiting with bated breath for the next bargain to appear on this thread. And yes, there will be times where there will be the need for additional posts requesting & receiving clarification about a previous bargain posted in this thread. However, please be considerate of your fellow Cruise Critic members. Posting chit chat (off topic thread drift aka hijacking) within a thread is boring to some readers and wastes their time. Especially for the 217 members Following this thread at this time. Everyone reading this thread only wants to know about the latest CRUISE LINE single supplement bargains. This is NOT a thread for "discussion" as are other Cruise Critic threads. I sincerely hope this will be helpful to all and thanks in advance for everyone's cooperation. Happy sails, Host Kat 2
