skrapngal Posted October 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2016 so we'll be carrying some with us onboard, but were wondering if, say, we get to the buffet, or dinner, and decide we want a soft drink, can we order one and put it on our account? If so, anyone know how much? Free refills?

BekkaW Posted October 22, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 22, 2016 We've usually gotten soda's onboard of the fountain style not in cans. That's unusual, I thought it was only packages that got fountain soda. If you're paying a la carte they're supposed to give you a can
knittinggirl Posted October 22, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) We've been known to order free soft drinks at receptions like the Top Tier Event. We seldom go to the welcome back reception, but I'd ask. Edited October 22, 2016 by knittinggirl

If you're paying a la carte they're supposed to give you a can We've gotten fountain style in the WJ, MDR and at a few onboard bars when paying a la carte prices (CL & DL fountain style too but perk)...the only time we've had can's are those left in our cabin as a D+ perk. So perhaps it's just varied for some depending on ship & supply. Just our experience on our last several cruise's.
Grandma Dazzles Posted October 23, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 23, 2016 so we'll be carrying some with us onboard, but were wondering if, say, we get to the buffet, or dinner, and decide we want a soft drink, can we order one and put it on our account? If so, anyone know how much? Free refills? You probably won't have a problem, but technically you are not allowed to carry on pop or water, but rarely is this reinforced. If you want soda you will pay by the can, around $3.50, and no free refills. At dining locations you can get water (not bottled), lemonade, iced tea, sometimes flavored water, breakfast juice, white and chocolate milk, sometimes punch, at no charge, along with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. If you are used to drinking pop/soda with meals with free refills you probably should buy a package.
iheartbda Posted October 23, 2016 #11 Share Posted October 23, 2016 That's unusual, I thought it was only packages that got fountain soda. If you're paying a la carte they're supposed to give you a can I have ALWAYS gotten a can and never fountain soda.
