Dream-eating lunch after boarding?

The Dream used to have the MDR open (I think she was the only ship to do so), if I am wrong I am sure I will be corrected by one of my friends here.

Early on they did as lido got too crowded but over time the crowding eased and DR no longer open for lunch on embarkation day.

I wanted to try the pasta on embarkation day, but couldn't find it (ended up trying it later in the cruise). FYI, the staircase to the pasta area is behind the deserts at the back of the Lido buffet.

Another lunch option that not many find the first day is the Tandoori Grill. It is Indian food and is located aft of the buffet on the Starboard side.

It also offers a limited normal (not Indian) breakfast every morning. Very quiet and peaceful. :)

I always go to the Tandoori Grill and the Pasta station upstairs. No one knows about the Pasta place that first day so it is not crowded and you get your food quickly. The rest of the week it is always too busy for me to bother with.
