Pinnacle Grill Menus Breakfast & Dinner

For the past few cruises that we were able to have breakfast in the pinnacle grill it was the same menu as the dining room but as far as I know it's just for passengers in the Neptune suites and higher. Dinner is available for a fee and I know they post the dinner menu right outside the door

I would appreciate it if someone could either provide or point me in the direction of where to find the current menus for Pinnacle Grill Breakfast & Dinner. I've searched on the forum but can't find anything. Thanks.

Here's what you're looking for. Roger posts here often:

The breakfast menu is the same for the Pinnacle Grill and the MDR. You'll find the service is better in the PG. The menu's are here:

The breakfast menu for the MDR and PG was totally changed from the 5/2016 photos noted above during our Noordam Sept. 2016 cruise. The choices have been decreased (guess we shouldn't be surprised), but the menus are still the same as each other. No longer all the international type breakfasts. They did have the Kippered Herring, but not the Scandiavian nor Dutch choices, just a generic combo called (I think) a "european breakfast" with some ham, french bread, hardboiled egg, marinated herring, onions, beets, and possible tomato. I enjoyed mine, but preferred the old choices.

Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures...I was sure someone would've mentioned this change already, especially someone eating in the MDR. I checked the MDR menu one day after eating in the PG, thinking only the PG had changed, but the MDR menu was also different.

Same old Room Service menu and old Breakfast cards.

PG dinner menu is right on the HAL site. Go to where you reserve dinner reservations and you will see Pinnacle Grill logo - click that and menu is there.

I never realized that. Thank you so much for pointing that out.

We eat at Pinnacle Grill a fair bit and I always used to enjoy the Tripe Crème Brulee, as I am gluten intolerant, so can't have much else. With a day's advance notice does anyone know if the PG would be able to prepare something like that for me??

HAL is quite good at handling different dietary requests.

I've never asked, but, I would think if you discussed it in advance with the PG they would do their best to accommodate you.

Each of the specialty restaurant menus posted on the HAL site is (and is clearly designated as) a "Sample Menu". As such, when I had a question about the "Sample Menu" for "An Evening at Le Cirque", I contacted HAL via e-mail.

Here is HAL's response to my inquiry:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for contacting us. The current menu offered on our Holland America Line website is an example of dishes that could be offered with our specialty dining experiences. As the menus are subject to change from time to time.

Please see the attached menu from the Nieuw Amsterdam as of October 20, 2016.

If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

As always thank you for choosing Holland America Line and have a great day!

Kind Regards,
