Hello Trainman-2 can you tell me what type of room you booked at The Hilton,will be staying there in Feb and really want to be able to see the ships come in.

Also,we are sailing Harmony in Feb,I believe you are also on too,hope to be able to meet you,love your reviews,I am on cruise critic all the time,but I am the quiet type,mostly reading/hardly ever posting.

Simply tell them you want the 12th floor overlooking the Cruise Port!

 

I think I signed up for a possible upgrade, which I got, that got me the room on the 12th floor. As I recall, the Upgrade cost $27.

Our Cleaning Lady, who is caring for our 2 wieners, 2 cats, and 8 chickens at our home sent a photo of Red Dog coming for her treat after going potty outside. You can see that her tail going 90 mph!

Day 2 - Saturday - Dec 3, 2016 - At Sea

 

 

Good Morning Everyone!

Time Change Tonight!

 

We turn our watches forward one (1) hour tonight!

Last night we had dinner at CHOPS and we were very disappointed.

 

Kathie and Jack did not join us because they have quit going to Chops because they feel that the quality of the food has gone downhill.

 

Judith had the Mushroom Soup and I had the Onion Soup. Both were Excellent!

 

 

 

I ordered the appetizer of Pan Roasted Jumbo Scallops. I recall seeing a photo of this on the RCI Web Site when I was making the reservation. It showed 4 large scallops in a long rectangular plate.

 

Here is a photo of what I was served.

 

 

Our Steaks were cooked as requested and the flavor was "right" but they were both tough and chewy!

 

Judith had the 6 Oz Filet

 

 

I had the 10 oz Filet with Bearnaise Sauce

 

 

The Asparagus and Creamed Corn were both excellent.

 

 

 

We were so disappointed with the steaks that we are going to cancel our second reservation at Chops.

Sorry for your dinner at Chops. The soups look the same as I get in the MDR, did you find a difference?
