My request was because I can't put a general coin request on here and i wondered if there was somewhere I could post one on the CP. I don't want to contact any specific person.

The library will often have a place to post such a note, but the chances of someone looking at that board is very low.

Thanks for this thread! March 11 cannot get here soon enough! So much hope that we get the new mattresses.....as many here have reported that it has started at least!

Just off the Grand which has all new mattresses. The beds are the best I have ever slept on!

We are looking to book for October sail. We are deciding between mini suite and mini suite club class. Is the club class worth it?

I say yes its worth it. First you never have to wait for a table. You will be seated right away no matter what time you show up. Second, the ratio of staff to tables is great. There is always two or three wait staff getting your food and drink. They have an expanded menu from MDR; and they cook items at your table. Certain nights or lunch; they have specials where they cook right at the table. My wife and I and our two grandkids loved Club Class dining

That's an improvement. Did it work?

Yeah, it worked as well as the notices on DCL that say "no saving of seats poolside or in the WDT." At least that was the case when we cruise her 2 years ago.

Translation--those who wish to be rude will continue to do so regardless of a sign.

I had a woman try to tell me that I was in her seat that she used to crochet. I suggested that she was welcome to join me (as I was alone), or take the extra chair...but that I would be staying until I finished my lunch.

Question for those who have sailed on CB. I will be staying in Cabin C-749. Anyone who's stayed in this cabin; please provide comments for me. Thanks. also did someone say drydock was Mar 11. Is this to swap bedding out; or will they be doing other things; like carpet, paint etc? Thanks for any feedback. Cheers

For anyone who has been on the ship recently and spent time in the Casino, what are some of the popular slot machines? Any of the newer ones? Wonder if they will change the slot machines during drydock? Any other info re the Casino would be appreciated.

Regarding the dry dock, that post was from last year. Here's what I found on the website.

*The Princess Luxury Bed is now available on board Ruby Princess, Emerald Princess, Coral Princess, Sun Princess, Grand Princess, Caribbean Princess, Majestic Princess, Pacific Princess and Golden Princess, Sea Princess, Star Princess and Island Princess. And will debut on Sapphire Princess (Mar 2018), Crown Princess (Apr 2018) and Diamond Princess (Aug 2018), followed by Royal Princess & Regal Princess in 2019. Please note this schedule is subject to change.

Thanks for the update. some people on this thread said they saw new mattresses being put on during their cruise. I assume it is an ongoing process. I think the next drydock is May 2019

Just off the Caribbean Princess and we had new beds and pillows that were wonderful (Rivera Deck). We saw the old mattresses in large containers on the dock. We also got new TV’s during the cruise with on demand movies. We had a great cruise, only complaint was wait time in Anytime Dining and getting into shows .. needed to be there way too early to get a seat. Only went a couple times.

We will be on the CB in May on an 8 day heading to the ABC Islands. Does anyone know what nights the formal nights are on? This is the first time on Princess but I’m guessing we will have 2? Thanks!

Were you by any chance in a suite? We are in a suite on an upcoming cruise on the Caribbean Princess and use of the steam room and thermal beds are included. If you were in a suite, I'd love to hear all about that experience and if it lives up to what they say.

We have used the thermal suite for years since we book suites but I don't think they are all that great. I remember the first time I went to use the beds. The only one left was next to a man and I really felt uncomfortable being next to him. My husband likes the steam rooms more than the beds. We find many people using the beds as a lounger and are reading books. I guess I get bored very fast when i use the beds. I also can't just sit out in the sun on a lounger either so it may just be me.

I prefer to use them on cooler cruises. I don't need to sweat after I have been in port on a humid 80 degree day. We only use it once a week at the most.

You need to try it yourself to see if you will like it. Enjoy.

I don’t see anything about formal night other than there are 2 nights. Since we are still 98 days away' date=' maybe it’s not on there yet? Thanks for your help! I’ll keep checking.

Not sure where you are looking. Don't see that information anywhere.

I'm curious also as to where you are seeing this information. Also, by "special nights", are you referring to formal nights?

Thanks,
