Has X ever offered a 72 hour sale like this before??

I'm irritated....as we already booked our excursions only to find now they are 20% off?! Does Celebrity always offer this type of sale??

Just cancel the excursions and re-book at the lower price. We did that a few weeks ago when there was a special sale on one of our cruises. They credit your account and charge you again at the lower price.

When I checked there was a 72 hour sale banner on the page that read the discount applies to "select" items. I didn't see any lower prices on my sailing.

I found a few excursions on my sailing that were reduced by 20%. But they're definitely few and far between.

 

To the OP, if you're finding any of the excursions you've already purchased are a part of this sale, then cancel and rebook as another poster suggested.

That must be why I'm not seeing anything different -- I'm logged in and the excursions for my itinerary are the same as when I priced them out a month ago.

No reason to be irritated. Shore excursions are completely refundable. Call in the morning and either cancel and rebook or see if they will just refund your card for the difference.

I got the email today and checked my cruise planner for my Equinox 5-5-17 & 5-20-17 sailings and all 10 of the excursions I had booked were flagged as 20% off; however, NONE are any lower than I paid last month. So much for a sale!

Quite a few on my upcoming April TA bought the premium drinks package and actually saved 30% online. The spa sale, IMHO, is not that great, as you must pay for one at full price. The dinner package was exactly the same as I paid over a month ago.

 

If you call, you will get different answers from different representatives too. One Captain's Club rep said that it did not begin until May 8, while another said check the website....don't ya just love all the different answers?????

The excursions we're planning say 20% off, but the prices are the same. If even says, "Your discounted rate." And it's the same as the regular rate. Oh well!

Another thread says the "sale" is for cruises this spring and summer.

 

 

Does not apply to later in the year or for 2018 cruises.

Double check what you actually paid vs the "new" price. There were 2 specific excursions my wife and I were looking at but had not booked. Those specific excursions are now marked as up to 20% off but the pricing is the same as it was prior to the sale.

We saved $100 each on beverage package but nothing on any booked excursion.

Saw the promo banner on my booking for June yesterday. Went through the shore excursions that I remember the price of and they were not Internet package had a discount, seemed like 15%. Saw the same promo before our cruise last Sep and a shore excursion we were thinking about had been reduced by 20%. As it was a trip to a zoo type experience the escorted trip came in less than buying the tickets at the gate so we took up that offer.
