So Seadog, what do you think about the H7 you're in? I've heard good things about it; the layout looks great. Have you felt much motion? Is the bathroom as great as everyone says?

Well we are closing down day two. The not so newlywed game in the central area was packed beyond belief so we missed most of that as we could not get near and skipped the theater show completely. We are realizing we just are not show people any longer at least the standard cruise shows.

Hope for some better activities tomorrow, thanks for following everyone and hope you all have following seas!

Yes we love this cabin. The bathroom is awesome as funny as that sounds

Love the multi jet shower, and it gets hot enough to actually have a steam shower effect which is a great to get going!

Love the larger living area, but the trade off is the smaller balcony, which is tiny.

We were on deck 9 several years ago in the same cabin 2 deck lower during a storm riding down to Port Canaveral in 20-30 foot seas for a while and it was tough to move in the cabin due to the motion. This week has been smooth even up on deck 11.

In other note about our cabin on deck 9 from several years ago is the outside crew area is directly below that bedroom window and several nights the crew had a party or just hanging out after their shift and we heard every conversation and laughing even at 3 am. Not their fault just the lower level front facing cabins get that. So we choose higher this time as the motion does not bother us thankfully.

But overall we like this better than the penthouse in the courtyard due to larger layout for less $$

Seadog-

Have you met an individual named Bill in the Haven? You took a picture of him speaking in the Haven bar in #26.

If you met him, tell him the cast from Gilligan's Island are thinking of him. He is very fond of the Haven bar and the casino.

Not necessarily in that order.

Remember that you're concierge can set you up for shows. It does not seem as though you are utilizing the Haven perks like you should. Just my observation. Your cruise, do it your way! [emoji106][emoji6]

Thanks for doing this live review. I am thinking of doing the Escape in fall of 2018 to Bermuda. Following along with you for the week. Have a blast!

Thanks! Glad it has been enjoyable so far.

I will look back at post 26 to see Bill and if we see him let him know you guys say Hi.

Yeah we are kind of just wanderers and happen upon stuff while on a cruise, meaning we miss a lot :) You are correct though we should utilize the concierge more. It would not have helped us with the newlyweds as it was on deck 6 in the large atrium in the open and it and deck 7 were packed with people, we should have hung around earlier to be closer to the stage near guest services.

I love your review so far. I have been thinking about a cruise to Bermuda for some time now...and your review is getting me thinking again! I'm hesitant of the seas. From the looks of your pics, the sea looks calm. I was wondering if so far have you came in contact with rough seas? Is it much different than the Caribbean?

Thanks! As far as seas go this trip has been very smooth. It is the North Atlantic and we do cross the Gulf Stream so the seas can be up sometimes, especially during a storm. But we have seen it like glass other times as well. Compared to the caribbean and gulf of Mexico it is usually a bit higher seas but not crazy ususally imo.

Hope you have a blast if you go!

Is Charlie Love still performing in Fat Cats? If so, I recommend listening to a set -- he usually starts around 8 or 9 pm. We really enjoyed his shows in early March.

The crowding for the nightly shows in the Atrium is out of control -- one must go very early or you won't get a seat/view at all.

I will check on Charlie Love, thanks for the tip!

I agree regarding the Atrium shows. That area is crowded all the time to begin with.

Late congrats on the casino win - on day one!!!

What a great start to the trip.

So happy that you are having a great time, plus entertaining the masses at home just living vicariously through you.

Thanks for putting a smile on my face this morning - cannot wait to see your "stick figure" - I am picturing Bob Ross as we speak ("its a happy little stick figure")....
