Pre Cruise Transfers and tour while in Rome

We will be in Rome September 2018 for 5 days pre cruise. Does anyone have any suggestions on which company to use for Transfers and tours while there.

I have looked at some many i cannot keep track. Rome Cabs, etc etc.

We also used Rome In Limo - highly recommended here on cruise critic. The ports of call for Italy is full of great information.

Another suggestion - join your roll call, you may find others wanting to do tours and you can tour share which can be cost saving.

Regarding Roll Call. No Roll call for those boarding in Rome. The are 3 Roll calls for boarding in Barcelona. At any rate all of your input is much appreciated.

We started out in Rome too! Loved spending 3 days there - so interesting and so much to do. Since you do not have a roll call going another suggestion if I may....Rome in Limo has an excursion sharing list and maybe you can join one of those.

you could always start a roll call for Rome embarkation as its effectively a different cruise and you may find others joining in same situation

Most of the big spots are walkable if you book a central hotel or condo. Their subway is also pretty good. We took the train from the Termini station to the port. It`s really a lot easier than you would think. We were about 4 blocks from Trevi fountain. Most folks were more than happy to help and download your City guide maps. You`ll be fine-We loved Rome..........just ate too much:D

I used Rome in Limo for pick up from airport including an Etruscan tour which ended at my hotel in Citavechia.

I highly recommend Rome in Limo. Met Promptly at airport, our driver Franco was very friendly and would use this company again for sure.
