Is it tacky to use something from another cruise ship?

I brought the bottle of champagne that NCL gave me for being a past guest on our NCL Escape cruise in September ( but we didn't drink because we had UBP) as one of our allowed bottles of wine to bring on our CCL Fantasy cruise in October. :)

I've thought about bringing on wine, but I also have UBP and might not drink it.

We bring what we wanted to come bring, pack it and use it ... a lightweight fleece blanket, comfort & familiar to Mrs. M ... regardless of the marketing or brand logo it and what anyone else think, i.e. insulated stainless steel tumbler from Starbucks & Dunkin. And, we have quite a few ... nice, land-based casino's giveaway fleece blanket. Is there one from CAS onboard NCL ?? Humm, I don't think so.

Last time I checked, NCL's one-size-fit-all bathrobe in the balcony stateroom is way too small for yours truly (those wearing XXL or even XL ... surely know it) - ditto for the disposable slippers I found in the closet. Unless and until NCL come up with solutions - will continue using mine (from HoJo overseas - reminders of our mainland China trip, only 1 unused pair left in the collection)

I hope not because I have some bright red blankets from Viking that might be useful on my 2018 South America cruise.

Yes I know, who cares, but I thought I'd ask the question anyway!

TACKY, TACKY, TACKY............

It is TACKY to wear bright red blankets from Viking as togas in the MDR for dinner.

On one my Princess Cruises there was a grumpy old guy wearing a RCL cap and took every opportunity to point at it and say “Much better cruise line!”. That is tacky folks.

Sent from my iPad using Forums

My response would be to ask why he isn't sailing on it then...?

Heck, I always do that. Mostly because I love my cruise shirts and other tchotchkes, and partly because I wonder if when the staff of cruise brand x sees me wearing something from cruise brand y or even another brand x ship maybe they'll know they're helping an experienced cruiser and give me that extra special touch that keeps me coming back. Probably wrong, but I can dream, can't I?

Hi all!

On my recent BTB NCL & CCL cruises I had my Princess bathrobe (which btw I did not wear in the buffet ;p) hanging in the w/c & RCL beach bag with the insignia turned inwards on an excursion.

What I do find tacky is the comedians or officers from one line making fun of another.

Funny thing is my first encounter with this guy was just after we boarded and he said that. I think he had his mind made up prior to boarding. I have sailed on both and prefer Princess over RCL but would happily sail on either.
