Perks for booking onboard?

We are trying to decide if we should book onboard in February or now with our agent. Any additional OBC or perks while booking onboard? Thanks!

Yes. There is OBC for booking on board. The amount varies by the class of stateroom and length of cruise.

Some amount of reduced deposit and an OBC is typically what is offered in addition to whatever the prevailing stateroom rate or offer is at the time. The booking can then be transferred to your TA if desired.

You can always book onboard (I got a $150 shipboard credit) and then transfer the booking to your TA and get whatever perk they offer.

At the time, I believe these were standard opportunities regardless of whether you booked on board or not. However, our down payment was reduced to just $100 per person. You actually pay for the perks in the cruise price. However, you do get additional OBC and a reduced deposit of $100 per person.

We were on the Eclipse the Friday after Thanksgiving and took advantage of the Black Friday special and booked three cruises with just $25.00 per person deposits.

Not always the case; for the same cruise price, the current on-board booking deal for a concierge or aqua cabin is two perks plus extra OBC, while the off-ship deal is only one perk. So the second perk is truly free!

We will be on the Anthem in Feb. First Royal Carib cruise and first-time on such a large ship!

I understand we can book a future Celebrity cruise on there but are the perks the same we would get if booking it onboard Celebrity?

Now this made my morning. We've booked our first transatlantic on Reflection for Nov, 2019. We'll be on Silhouette in March, 2018, and this may make it worth a visit to the booking folks.

Got about 5 to 6 inches on the grass in Franklin - but most has melted already on the roads.

 

Please note that the current deal expires December 19th; you will just have to wait and see what the deal is next March.
