What day do they charge gratuities?

Recommended Posts

Are you sailing on Carnival any time soon Bill?

No Jim, just a question I had from reading another post. I do have "some" friends and most haven't cruised yet and when they decide they want to cruise I like to have the correct info.

It's amazing the questions they ask being new but I imagine I was like that back in 1991 when we started cruising.

We have the Oasis next month, and a 10 day Dawn cruise on NCL in December to the Southern Caribbean and then may take some time off from cruising and try some all inclusives or land vacations.

Of course if a deal too good to pass up, or an itinerary that is somewhere we haven't been yet that may change our decisions.

Just curious, why would it matter what day? If your not sure, just look at the size of the line at Guest Services, and the day it's biggest is the day, it hit.

I use discounted gift cards for my Sail & Sign account. I apply them to my account as I need them instead of all on embarkation day.

Sounds good, thanks for the reply. We are doing a 3 day on the Bliss for TA's in May when she comes over. It will be interesting to get a view of their newest product.

Really? I’ll have to look into that. Although I have a 401k so I’m not sure that works the same. Any idea?

Sorry, I have no idea with a 401k or if your 401k even offers Carnival stock. But, in an IRA, as long as you don't mix between Roth and standard IRA portfolios, you can buy or sell (move) you money into any stock or such as you want.
