I am suspicious of anything that calls itself Texas BBQ yet has a Carolina sauce available.

I'm glad store see they have the towel animals my youngest son loved them the one cruise I took him on and was disappointed to learn celebirty doesn't do them! So he will be happy when we go on the bliss (though he will be 8 by then so who knows lol) now I do have a question and it's kinda a stupid question (so don't be mean lol) but I don't travel in NCL and anyone can answer lol is the UBP for any drinks or is there like a lower level that you get as a perk then a higher level cause that's how it works on celebirty! I'm really enjoying this trip reports to prepare me, but I must admit you have to pay for alot of extras I wasn't really expecting!

Deviled eggs, onion rings, jalapeno cheese grits, and after 3 tries the Lone Star potato with pulled pork. First the server thought I said loaded fries and broght those out, ten fixed it to the potato but it only had pork and beans on it. When I asked where the other stuff was they said "this is how it comes". They did look at a menu and rectified it. I'm guessing it hasn't been ordered much.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I made sure to save room for dessert and ordered the bread pudding. The waitress was not kidding when she said the desserts were big. Two or three people could share this delicious monster.

Still tired but up. While we're only an hour off EST it's still 5 hours for me on PST. Time change has not been good to me even with shutting the "window" in my room.

It's still foggy and chilly with the fog getting a little thicker last night. It probably would have been a great time to do laser tag.

The wind has picked up a bit and it's pretty strong on the port side of the waterfront but nice and calm on the starboard. Even though it's windy and chilly up on 17 it's very popular this morning with the walkers and joggers. Waterfront also has a few.

 

 

They have the morning continental breakfasts up on the waterfront at both Sugsrcane and Cavern Club. Looks like they start breaking those down after 10.

 

 

Hey, the newly installed lamps look great!

 

 

Most of the waterfront seating is blue padded chairs and couches but Ocean Blue has some other types.

 

 

The smoke tank (aka Humidor) had quite a few people in it this morning. I brought some cigars in case the mood hit me but even if it did I wouldn't go in there. Cigarette smoke is just too nasty to be able to enjoy the experience.

Since I was walking around the ship I figured I'd get some pictures of some of the empty, and mostly empty venues.

 

The Cellars is a beautiful bar.

 

 

 

Ocean Blue is also very elegant.

The A-List Bar sits between Cagney's and Los Lobos.

 

 

 

Cagney's is about the same as the Aways and Escape with some overflow seating behind the bar.

 

 

 

 

 

There was a seminar going on in Los Lobos so no pics of that.

Skyline was open and they had a continental breakfast spread as well on the back wall by the slots.

 

 

 

I love the feature wall, the reflection of the slot lights gives it changing looks.

Lobster on the buffet today for lunch. It wasn't very good. I got one good claw and the rest, including the grilled half was mealy.

The thing that strikes me is the amount of different flooring materials they have used on this ship. It really is stunning. A major decor element. They had some very talented people to design and install it. It's a WOW factor, for sure!

Scavenger hunt over and my team came in second since we had one wrong answer.

 

I was sweating after since we were fast walking around the ship and taking stairs for floors 6, 7, & 8.

 

Now I'm waiting on a mojito in Sugarcane and debating if I want to spa now or not.

 

Interesting glass for the regular mojito.
