That is completely up to you. We always book the cabin we want, so .... I would look at the location of all of the spa mini suites. If they are all in an "ok" location to you, then go ahead and bid. If there are any that you wouldn't want, I would not chance it with a bid. You may end up with that one!

The system will let you upgrade to a mini. No guarantee of a spa room.

 

The ONLY difference between your room and a mini is a bigger bathroom.

Other than a larger bathroom, there is not much difference in what you have and the mini suite.

It's larger bathroom vs. larger balcony. The larger bathroom is nice, but I would keep the balcony.

 

Good move - I think you would want to spend more time on the Balcony than in the loo ! LOL !

Agreed, but the extra sink could make the spouse happy and the shower can be fun!

One thing to remember as someone above said is that when you have a spa cabin, when you bid for the upgrade you may not necessarily get a spa cabin so may lose access to the thermal spa which would then cost an extra -$200.
