Help convince me I want a cruise that is half sea days

We love sea days. The more the better. I find looking out at the ocean, the movement of the ship so relaxing. We are big readers though, and load up our kindles. Even if you are not a regular reader, maybe pick up a couple of best sellers for those sea days? Or plan a family gin rummy afternoon or similar to break up the day?

Personally we cruise for the ports so we don’t like a lot of sea days. Some cruise to be on the ship so sea days would be more enjoyable but not for us. We have only been on 5 cruises so there are still lots of places we want to see and 3 sea days would be too much for us. Depends what you’re looking for really.

Go for the sea days.

Our next cruise is ten days and only visits three ports. We’ve also done two Transatlantic cruises which have a large amount of sea days and at least a week without seeing any land. Our upcoming South America/Antarctica Cruise has a pretty good amount of sea days and scenic cruising days also.
