MichMom06 Posted August 9, 2018 #26 Share Posted August 9, 2018 Heavy Duty Magnets. Yep, I bought a pack of 4 from Amazon prior to our last cruise and hung them on our cabin wall. Our suits dried much faster this way. ;) They were not expensive, maybe $8. Just make sure they are not teeny tiny.
karena1 Posted August 9, 2018 #27 Share Posted August 9, 2018 Like other said, we roll ours into towels to dry them, then hang them from any available surface. We also don't mind putting back on a damp suit if we're going straight to the pool/hot tub. Luckily I don't have to do that as I never wear the same suit more than once when on a cruise. I probably bring 15 suits for a week cruise so I have choices - never know what I will want to wear for my suit each morning until I try them on:p:p:p:p

Pellaz Posted August 10, 2018 #31 Share Posted August 10, 2018 The Harmony and other new ships no longer have retractable clotheslines in the shower. why would they possibly want to remove those? It makes no sense at all.

Shak Posted August 10, 2018 #33 Share Posted August 10, 2018 One less maintenance issue. I think saving $$$ on parts and installation was a consideration too! Shak
LuCruise Posted August 10, 2018 #34 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Our built in closet on Allure had a bunch of pant hangers. Work great for drying bathing suits (they were never dripping wet by the time we'd return to our cabin). My wife moved to Florida from Pennsylvania and thought it was crazy that everybody had at least two or three bathing suits.
Havingfun2010 Posted August 10, 2018 #36 Share Posted August 10, 2018 There are some things in life, that I just don't think about.....such as how to hang a wet bathing suit on a hanger to dry......and never thought it would have been a major discussion point!!!! Now, I only bring one bathing suit. I mean, when I go swimming, I'm washing it, so no need to wash it again!
