Weather isn’t looking too promising. Another thing...I’ve read complaints about the coffee bar lines. I’ve had it every day and no problems here. I would say the wait has been less than 5mins every day except for today. I’d say it was 5-10 today.

I’ve been trying to play some more blackjack on these sea days but nobody was playing yesterday. Which is crazy to me because it seems like those tables stayed full on recent cruises. I’m wondering if it’s because 2 of my last 3 cruises were out of Galveston and they don’t have gambling there. Where we have blackjack with better odds less than a mile from the port.

 

I caught people playing at one table today. Checked them out for a few hands. Looked good so I sat down. I was up $60 when a couple of the table people left. I left as well because I was going to be left at the table with this girl who was making really bad decisions. I went in $100 and cashed out $160. Then I noticed the other Blackjack table was near full so I checked it out. They all played a dealer bust hand perfectly so I sat down. Put in $100. Left when a couple of those people left. Cashed out $140 there so I’m up $200 on the trip.

I have never cruised out of NOLA before only Florida ports. I have always had to get my sign and sail punched at guests services. Thanks for the live review. We cruise in May and can not wait to be on the Dream . only ever done conquest class

When it comes to college football. I know a bunch of Alabama fans were planning on watching them in the casino bar. I was skeptical because it’s on ABC and carnival got rid of the network channels. I just walked by the casino bar and it isn’t on. ESPN2 and SEC Network are on all of the TVs.

Actually you are only up $100.

First table you put in $100 and left with $160. $160 - $100 = +60

Second table you put in $100 and left with $140. $140 - $100 = +40

 

$60 + $40 = $100.

 

You didn't account for the $100 at each table that came out of your pocket. You have to subtract that to see how much you are actually up. Still a nice win for only a few minutes play time.

Ugh! Putting my bag in the hallway the door closed and my room card was in there. Now on the last night I have to wait in the guest services line to get in my room.
