We will arrive at the Miami port Sunday morning & do not fly out until 8pm on Sunday out of FLL. Looking for ideas on what to do. We will have luggage with us. Ive seen a few mentions of different tours. Any specific suggestions would be awesome.

Thanks,

Since you have the entire day and because a cruise line excursion will get you to the airport no later than mid-afternoon, consider renting a car.  You can store your luggage in the trunk and one way rentals don't incur an additional fee.  For things to see and do in Fort Lauderdale, check out www.sunny.org and TripAdvisor.  Top on just about anyone's list is the water taxi (www.watertaxi.com).

If you don't want to rent a car, take a cab/Uber/Lyft to Fort Lauderdale airport after disembarking the ship.  There is a Bags to Go luggage storage facility in each terminal (www.bagstogo.net) where you can store your luggage until 5:30.  From the airport you can take a cab/Uber/Lyft to downtown (a short, inexpensive ride).  Once downtown, hop on the Sun Trolley (www.suntrolley.com) for cheap transportation ($1/ride or #3/day pass) down Las Olas, along the beach, and down 17th Street.  Then take a cab/Lyft/Uber back to the airport arriving before 5:30 to pick up your luggage and check in for your flight.

From POM take an Uber to South Beach and store your bags at the Luggage Lounge.  Enjoy SB for the day - boozy brunch, beach, people watching, art deco architecture, hop-on/off bus tour.  Collect your bags when ready and Uber to FLL.

www.resortpass.com is one source for large hotels and resorts offering day passes to their spa, pool and beach facilities - tipe them to store your bags while you enjoy.

these guys supposedly will take your bags from ship to airport and hold them til you get there

then I'd make my way over to Bayside and get a ticket for the Hop on Hop off, get off in time to grab an Uber to FLL. Play it right and you can get off a bit further north and reduce the UBER cost ...

(there's a couple of HoHo's so I'd check their route maps ... they are NOT all the same . . . )
