We were in 7106 which is port side aft below sea view pool area. The  sea view buffet is on the portside. HAL ships have smoking on either side depending on the ship, usually starboard.

Thanks we are in 7098, near aft lifts, portside.

Great review, just read it.

Great review, just read it.

Thanks.

I don't have a great history of doing reviews. I get home with full intention then life gets in the way. John Lennon once said something along those lines.

7098/7106. Yep, handy to the lifts and a short stair walk to the Lido and slightly longer stair walk to MDR. And a nice after dinner walk to the theatre - outside along Promenade deck. After the show a nice walk back, weather permitting, to work off that extra bit of bread or two that some one left begging in the basket.

Thanks for the fabulous review, I just found it and enjoyed every post!

Just something to be aware of, if you are a blood donor and visit PNG, you are banned from donating for three years afterwards. I got caught out by this and am only just able to start donating again now.

Cheers, Anne (who is going to check out Jane Harper's books!)

Thank you for your kind words.

I was unaware of the blood donor ban. I was a donor for many years but I think I've fallen off the blood bank radar because it's been a long time since I've been notified of the mobile blood wagon being in my area.

Thanks Anne.

I wasn't aware of the blood donation ban for visitors to PNG.  Hadn't come up in my research.  Thanks for mentioning it.

Hope you enjoy my book rec.
