Gambling on Ship While Docked

Will the casino be on on the ship if we are docked overnight in Bermuda?

Depending on the ship, yes, it will be open from 9pm to I think 5am. It all depends if the ship has a license to open.

Last year the Dawn was so I hope the Gem is this April. I am up early and went there about 4-4:15 so was only for a little while. Was just walking and didn't know they were open the person who checked the coffee told me 5:00 the machines would shut down. That was fine I ran out of money before 5:00 🙂. Hey I didn't know they were open and didn't bring enough cash in my jeans.

Most lines that stop there with any regularity pay the license for the casino to be open at night while in port. The only time you might run into a problem is if you're on a ship that only calls on the island once a year on a repositioning trip or something like that.

If your cruise line obtained a license they can open after 9:00 PM. The lines that do Bermuda regularly have obtained the licenses.

Glad someone asked this question.  Will be spending 2 nights in Dockyard on the Escape in June and was wondering about the Casino.  Thanks.

The Escape's casino will definitely be opening at 9 pm.
