Lifeboat Drill

Whenever I have had a relatively late sail away (they are very common in Europe), muster usually happens before dinner service starts.

Unless people have had previous experience on this itinerary of it happening as late as 8.30 then I would

suggest that is incorrect and it will actually be sometime around 5pm.

A make up drill would be held the next day for anyone who misses it.

I would agree.  I have no personal experience with this itinerary but I've cruised on all of the Jewel Class ships and the the dining room (the aft one at least) was always used as a muster station.

Muster will be before dinner service. Most likely around 4:30 (that’s when we had ours for a 7:00 pm departure). If you miss the main muster, you must attend the make up the following day.

Sailed from Seward many times.  As I recall the muster was at 8:30.

On the Norwegian Sun, the muster station was held at approximately 8:00pm, but the main dining rooms were not an assembly station.

Last year we did two sailings out of Seward on the Jewel.  The drill was held at 5:00pm, but there was a make up drill in between the welcome aboard shows in the stardust theater, only for those that missed the 5:00pm drill.  Once we made the drill, once we did not.  About 200 guests were in the Stardust for the secondary drill.
