Yes/No: No Strongly considered a few but decided to throw that extra money towards increasing our cabin for 2024 Beyond cruise, or 2025 Ascent when finally available. General Comments : Minimum bid for each category (in CAD $) per person Iconic Suite: $7,045 pp Penthouse Suite: $2,000 pp Edge Villa: $3,000 pp Royal Suite: $2,000 pp Celebrity Suite: $1,500 pp AquaClass SkySuite: $400 pp I am curious if the mins are different for others in S1 on same cruise. We booked this when Beyond first became available online so we got the lowest possible price (I check daily and has never even come close). So I caved and bid for the Aquaclass SkySuite. First bid was min of $400 per person. I *immediately* got an email that I had been outbid. I went back in, cancelled and re-bid (wasn't letting me modify) and I did $500. Still a very weak offer. Online shows 4 AQ SS currently available. Main page says Offer Received, and when I click on that it says "Pending". No emails that I have been outbid. Yet. If I get a promotion or better job offer before that cruise, I'm bidding on the EV and RS 😉 Edited October 7, 2022 by mtempelaar

No one in my group that I know received an offer email. I'm relatively happy with my current cabin, but if I can upgrade to Concierge for $120 then it's a great deal. I do not have high hopes for any upgrade. Current price for a Sunset Veranda is about $1,700 more than I paid, and $2,100 more for the Concierge or Aqua class. Not sure its increased demand or less value offered in suite bids or both. We are on Reflection 11/27. Had booked AQ with a plan to bid for a suite. When we saw the minimum bids we just bought up to RS. It was less than $100 more than the minimum bid. No fuss, no muss and we got the Captains Club points for an RS. In Feb we went from a Sky Suite to RS on Edge and the bid plus fare paid was many $1000's less than booking a RS.

Very shortly after I placed the bids, the porthole showed expired and the concierge bid pending with no ability to change. It sat that way for a month before notification 31 days out.
