Odd Question

My Mom passed away last week with my Dad passing away 20 yrs ago.  They were avid Princess cruisers as I am.  My Mom always said she wanted their ashes released at sea from a cruise ship.  Does anyone know if Princess would do a brief service like this for me?  I am the only family they had.

My condolences to you, and yes, a burial at sea can be arranged by calling the cruiseline directly.  They will give you instructions and make the arrangements.

You may want to check and see if there are any restrictions on bringing the ashes through custom in any countries you may travel.

when my mother passed away, she loved cruising, my sister and I arranged to have a wreath that we could toss in her memory.

Princess did a wonderful job, they provided a wreath (that was environmentally friendly and pre approved) and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye.

This is still a very special memory for us

We were given time on a sea day on the very back of the ship. They closed off both sides to allow us privacy. The only requirement we were told was that the ashes had to be in a biodegradable container.
