Ginnyfyr Posted August 31, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2019 Has anyone noticed if they offer low sugar or sugar free flavoured syrups at Cafe Bacio? Trying to reduce my sugar intake but I do love a vanilla latte (or two) in the mornings when we sail. I'm guessing they don't have them as I've never been asked if I want regular or low/no sugar (but also didn't use to pay much attention to my sugar intake so I also didn't pay attention to what was going into the drinks!) Rare cruisestitch Posted August 31, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2019 Yes, there are some, but whether they have the flavor you prefer is a bit hit or miss. Ask and if they have it on board they will try to get it for you for the next morning.

miched Posted September 1, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2019 If you want to lower your sugar intake just order a Americano and don’t add any cream or sugar and don’t have any of the cookies and pastries that are available unless they are sugar free. If order a Igloo it is a mix with a lot of sugar Also if you order any drink that contains milk it will have sugar in it because milk naturally contains sugar. Happy cruising. 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
Carnevale Posted September 1, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2019 Do they have stevia as an option for those who want to sweeten their tea or coffee?
GastroGnome Posted September 1, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2019 (edited) Sweet & Lo I think. Not Stevia as a brand. ETA: I would have thought you could bring your own syrup on board if you wanted? Edited September 1, 2019 by GastroGnome
Rare cruisestitch Posted September 1, 2019 #7 Share Posted September 1, 2019 No Stevia. They have pink, blue, yellow packets of sweetener. yes, you can bring your own syrup if you so choose.

njgirl Posted September 3, 2019 #9 Share Posted September 3, 2019 You can order any kind of coffee with skim milk (they call it a skinny). Also when I was on the Summit in in April, they had sugar free vanilla syrup. ENJOY !!!
Cobeck1234 Posted September 4, 2019 #10 Share Posted September 4, 2019 DH our multiple sugar free vanilla lattes daily. Never had an issue. They also had no sugar added cookies, cakes and treats offered throughout the cruise.
Rare calicakes Posted September 4, 2019 #11 Share Posted September 4, 2019 I was told by a few ppl on my creature comfort thread that they do have sugar free. I think they said vanilla. Nevertheless, I’m bringing my own.
