Explorer of the Seas dining

Recommended Posts

Not sure if we want to book a Jr.  Suite or not.  Does Explorer have any up dinning for jr. suites?  We have not been on this ship since it moved out of NJ and thinking about a cruise 2021 after dry dock.  Last time we booked a suite they had special suite area for the pool but that was G. Suite. They did have special dinning for lunch and breakfast.

We had a JS on Explorer recently. Other than boarding a little quicker and a bigger cabin there really aren’t any other worthwhile perks with a JS

We were happy we chose it though as the extra space is worth a lot to us and Explorer doesn’t offer enough full suite perks to make the jump in price worthwhile in our opinion.

Yeah..a JS is a great space, without that "suite" price.  The cabin, and balcony are larger than a standard balcony room, as is the bathroom, because of the tub.  That's our preferred way to cruise!  The "suite" seating around the pool isn't in my preferred area, and you can pretty much buy anything else you might want, regarding specialty restaurants...

You get double points too, right?

Perks for a JS on Explorer:

Bathtub
Walk-in closet
Priority check-in and boarding
Tea kettle and coffee maker
Bathroom amenities
Robes
Extra C&A point per night
Silver Seapass card (no significance other than distinctive color)

What are the perks of a Grand Suite on Explorer? Trying to decide whether to submit a Royal Up bid on that.
