Haven triple points

This was my first time traveling in the Haven.  When I checked my latitudes account they had credited 21 points for a 7 day cruise.  I expected 14 for the suite but what is the other 7 for?  I am thrilled because it pushed me right into platinum.

Unless something changed in the past moment the Haven doesn't reward additional points - BUT it is something

that perhaps NCL should look into - Super points for being in a super suite.

 

The Breakdown - - -

You get -1- point per day of your cruise - so your 7 day cruise results in -7- points

You get -1- point per day being in a suite (Haven) - add -7- more points

So where did the additional -7- points come from ?

You booked an special cruise offering (Inside Offer) otherwise known as a Past Guest booking.

Thus that resulted in the -7- additional points

-3- points daily is the maximum accrual.

 

Fast track to higher latitudes rewards perks bennies (laundry bottle of bubbly with dinner etc.)

Usually, the third point is a book in advance promotion. On your way to being an ambassador member!

You might of gotten lucky and your cruise/booking was still grandfather in when the booking 9+ months in advance gave you double points. this happen to me and it bumped me up a latitude level

If you booked the Haven you get an extra point per day. If you upgrade to the Haven through the bidding process you do not get the extra point per day.

 

"*For full fare Suites booked at the time the reservation was originally made. Does not include mini-suites. Does not apply to upgrades or upsells. If you receive a free or discounted upgrade to a Suite or The Haven you will not receive Suite points. Rewards points are not applied for Cruisetour nights or hotel stay nights. You get an extra point for any cabin category that starts with an S or an H.  Suite or Haven.

I don't think this happened as our last cruise in the Haven was in Dec 2018 and booked in March 2017 and that cruise only earned 14 points.

I hope this happens to me!  I booked a suite under a past guest offer that gives me an extra point per day.

You will get the extra points. 

 

Taking advantage of the bonus points that NCL has offered in the past and those still in place we have made Platinum after five seven night cruises.

Yay!!  Unfortunately this will only be my 3rd cruise with NCL but it will push me to silver after this cruise.  Which isn't saying much but it's progress!

While you may not be able to afford the suite (Haven) you can get the extra point per night by booking the

Insider Offer or a Past Guest selected cruise. There would be no additional fare charged for this and you

may even get from 1-5 perks. Each month NCL offers select cruises that qualify for the extra points.
