Lets lighten it up - Favourite Italian Port

Given the situation Italy is in what is your favourite Italian port and why ?

Mine is NAPLES - i love sailing into the bay of Naples looking at Mount Vesuvius on a gorgeous sunny morning

Love many cities in Italy, but for a port to see in a day, Naples was our favorite. Loved the view off the back of the ship when we docked.  But I think what really made the port/day so special was the tour guide we had.

Venice - beautiful sail out... it's probably my absolute favorite.

Civitavecchia - because it gets me to Rome...

Naples -  for Vesuvius views

Such a beautiful country!  I haven't been to Cinque Terre yet - on the list though!  🙂

I liked Naples for it's location and ability to get places, we did Pompeii. Buttttt.... I thought the town itself was a bit of a dive. So that was disappointing.

For me it would have to be La Spezia!!! I cannot wait to book another Med Cruise that calls there and go exploring Cinque Terre.
