mjcatlvr Posted March 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2020 16 Day cruise booked, cruise fares are now $4392 LESS! NCL has our $1500 Deposit and we used 2 Cruise Next Certificates totaling $500. What to do? Cancel and re-book? Call NCL? Would also like to use our FCC that we got for the cruise that we were supposed to go on today. Help a girl out on the best way to handle this 😉

SouthLyonCruiser Posted March 14, 2020 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2020 It would be nice if you used a GOOD travel agent. He/she could do all of your leg work for you. Just put it in their lap and wait for an answer.

Gershep Posted March 15, 2020 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2020 The November cruise I am looking at prices are still high.
gatorchinsky Posted March 15, 2020 #6 Share Posted March 15, 2020 The cruises I just looked at for Thanksgiving week are between $1800-$2000 more than what I paid for this past Thanksgiving. I hope all is good in the world by Thanksgiving but at those prices we will look elsewhere.
deliver42 Posted March 15, 2020 #7 Share Posted March 15, 2020 I also tried several mock bookings on different NCL ships, and nothing caught my eye, price wise. Even inside cabins on the newer ships were high, but I'm not looking for an inside or OV. Just a balcony.

I have heard that you can apply FCC to existing cruises so if you booked you should be able to apply the FCC when you get it. I would be calling ASAP! pghflyer Posted March 16, 2020 #9 Share Posted March 16, 2020 (edited) I am really baffled at their pricing/ marketing. In one of the worst crises for their industry, they are sticking to higher prices than existed 90 days ago (30% off plus 20% extra for Latitude members in December) and their only concession for non-existent demand is the 48-hour cancel? I am also tracking airfare and those prices have cratered big time.....although not clear even that has helped their demand either.
